Thanks sweetie, she did and didn't, I do have PCOS so she prescribed metformin BUT they've really upset my tummy and I've had to stop taking them already! Will try to get a telephone apt Monday and ask her to prescribe the adjusted ones that hopefully won't upset me! No way I can take these and leave the house let alone go to work! Xxxx

I just wanted to say I'm kind of in the same boat. I know it's smarter to wait but I seem to have become baby obsessed! Me and my fiancé are NTNP, but we basically are trying because we are hoping that I will just magically become pregnant. I am 19 (almost 20), most say I'm too young. My fiancé is 23. We are very stable, but like you money could be a little better. There is no doubt we would be able to have a baby and have extra money left over to save though. Anyway since I am new here I just wanted to let you know I'm right there with you.

They prescribed it but I can't take it so it's not getting us anywhere it'll be next weekend before I can try anything else. Can't risk being bad in the week.

That's what we're here for Hun, to get support from others this time round there's only my DH and bnb ladies, we haven't told anyone else, other than our doc! Lol this forum can be a life saver, yes it can get too much when it feels everyone else is conceiving and your not but you're never alone Hun xx

thanks, i hope so1 should get them weds/thurs but won't try them until saturday just in case. metformin helps to regulate cycles, its used to treat diabetes mainly and isn't yet licensed as specific treatment for PCOS but its commonly used. I'm tempted to ask for clomid but think i'll have to wait until my next cycle to start them and as i haven't even ov'd yet that could be a while away! xxx

Not convinced I'm on cd1 after all..

Sorry if tmi ....

This afternoon felt like I came on so went to the loo and yup some blood there, about the size of 50p on my typically white underwear lol plus a pretty bloody wipe with loo roll, assumed the flood gates were about to open, didn't have any pads or tampons on me! Eek! So when needs must I made a make shift pad with some bundled loo roll until I got home lol!!
Got home, another 50p sized drop of blood
Put a pad on, 4 hours later went to change but just a streak of very dark brown... Another 4 hours later just a few very dark brown spots n streaks... Never happened before....
Wonder what tonight will bring... I've been pretty crampy so I think maybe just a slow start of AF...




Oh Laura hopefully it'll work wonders and pow! Up the duff next cycle it's gotta be your turn soon !!!!!!

Oooooo I hope it's in hunni!! I never used to get spotting or anything just full blown AF straight away but now sometimes I can spot for 3-5 days before she hits fully so every cycle I get fooled into thinking its ib I so hope this is your BFP hunni!

I hope so Hun! My body simply hates me and although we really want it to happen I don't hold out much hope it'll be anytime soon xxxx
