hope I'm really sorry but the pics are just too small for me to see, even when I enlarge them! I don't have the best eyesight :( If there is a really really faint line then maybe leave it til Saturday and test again? It should hopefully get stronger if you are pg.

I am ok....I hate to say it considering but I got my BFP this morning. So, so, so nervous! I've been trembling all morning. Off to the docs later for a chat (almost as stunned to get an appointment so easily as I was to test positive haha) x

Hello...sorry I have MIA. I acatually have bad news. I had a mc early last week. Taking a break and enjoying what I have...Will try again in Feb/March possibily!! Oh no, I am so sorry for your loss Shannon. :hugs::hugs::hugs: Glad to hear that you are feeling better now. Wow, 7 kids really is a blessing :) I'm sure you will have very exciting holidays with your family :)
And yes, please keep us updated!

Oh no Shannon I am sorry. Mcs are so hard. But it sounds like you have an amazing family and it's great to hear you sounding positive. But do talk about,it if you need to, I know it can be a bit of a rollercoaster :hugs:

AFM the doc says just to sit tight, no progesterone or anything for me :( So we DH and I agreed I am technically pregnant but won't be properly pregnant til we get well beyond 12 weeks.

Oh man, I was hoping he would be a little bit more helpful :growlmad:. That's probably a good perspective to have right now. I really hope everything will work for you, you for sure deserve it! :hugs:

Hope- I could kind of see a very very faint line on the first picture. 10DPO is still early so I would wait 48 hours and test again, should be darker then if it is a BFP. Good luck and keep us posted!

Smiler- Congrats on the BFP!!! Praying you get a sticky bean! Sorry the doc was unhelpful, but try to enjoy the moment.

Shannon- I am so so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it can be, but I am so glad that you are doing better now. Take it easy and enjoy the holiday with your beautiful babies!

Good luck to all those waiting to test! Can't wait to hear about more BFPs!

Thank you to EVERYONE!!!!! I am feeling better and glad to be almost back to normal. I am getting there..kids keep me busy! Will keep you all posted and look foward to some more BFP!!!!

Oh no, Minuet :( I don't know if it means anything but I took progesterone tablets earlier this year to stop my period from coming (first foreign holiday in 4 years, was not going to let AF spoil it!!) and in the instructions it said it could take as long as 7 days for you to get your period once stopping the pills. So I don't know if it would be the same kind of situation with the cream?

It is supposed to result in AF within 14 days after stopping the cream and it's been... almost 20 days. So not sure what's going on.

Smiler congrats!!

Did the doctor say why no progesterone? Did he test your progesterone levels? I would demand a progesterone blood test and demand to see the results and if it is low, demand some progesterone.
Don't let the doctor tell you what to do here, you want this baby a lot more than some doctor does.

Congrats again :D

:nope: Nope no AF, I'm so confused. Temp shot back up again for me today too.

Oh no, that really sucks.
Is there something your doc could do to induce your period?

Going to a doctor hopefully in January if we have the money to spare. But I know a doctor would just give me Provera.

thanks for the hugs :hugs:

Minuet I'm so sorry you are still waiting. This is going to sound a bit flip and I don't mean it to, but my MIL always said if you want to bring on a period, have a really hot bath, a few drinks and an orgasm!! Not sure in which order....but anything is worth a try?! I also read that parsley tea can help, you just get fresh parsley, boil a kettle and pour over the leaves like you would a normal tea, leave it for a few mins then fish out the leaves and drink. Have no idea what it tastes like!

The doc basically said there wasn't enough evidence that any of these things help when you don't know the cause of your previous miscarriages. It's likely progesterone wasn't an issue before because I made it to 10 and 12 weeks, but I did feel like it can't hurt surely, so wouldn't it be worth trying? But she just said what they've all said before, which is to try not to worry (!) then if it happens again I'll get a load of tests done, then the next time I'm pregnant they can prescribe me anything if the tests show I need it.

Congratulations Smiler! I asked for a progesterone check as well and she said she didn't see a need for it. Do you have a normal LP? I hate that they suggest doing something after the fact. It's really not fair to have to loose a baby in order to prove that you have an issue. Do you know what cause the mc at 10-12 weeks? :flower:

Sorry Hope but I couldn't see a line. It's still early so lets hope it gets darker over the next couple days. :happydance:

Minuet- I'm so sorry about your long cycle, that's gotta be really hard for you. Are you on Metformin for the PCOS? My Dr. put me on it to regulate/bring on my cycles as soon as I was diagnosed. I think I went from having about 5 cycles a year to about 10.

Shannon- I'm very happy to hear you're feeling better. :flower:

PurpleIvy, yeah my LP is normal length, 14-15 days. I don't know if it's the same in the USA but here, they only give you tests after you've lost 3. Rationally I know this and I understand their reasons for it, but emotionally it is hard to accept that. Like you say, it feels like you have to lose a baby to prove there's an issue. But to them, two losses is considered normal and just a case of quite bad luck. I don't know what the reasons were before. With my first I had a D+C and they said they would run some tests on the baby, but nothing showed up. So I guess that is one slight positive that nothing was found. With my 2nd, I do wonder if stress was a factor because I was made redundant a few weeks after I got my bfp and I have honestly never been so worried and stressed in my life, it was horrible. So this time I am hoping that the clomid gave me a 'better' egg and now I work for myself I can take time off to chill whenever I want to.

How are you feeling? I have no symptoms yet but I know they won't kick in for another week or two. Am hoping for much stronger ones than I had before!!

I guess I just find it unacceptable that the doctor is basically saying ' we won't do anything until you've had three miscarriages'. Like really?
If they don't know the cause shouldn't they at least test hormone levels so see where they are at?
It just seems rather haphazard, and I'm all for pushing doctors to do what they should. Trying to be an advocate for you here. :)

Yep I've read about the parsley tea before, but am not quite yet willing to try that haha. Will try the cream again if my temp doesn't keep going up.
Thanks for your input/suggestions. :)
