Lovely Ladies TTC

Fx for you Shannon!!

Yes I got my doppler today. It's a Sonoline B Fetal Doppler from Fetal Harmony. First time I tired I couldn't hear anything and was getting myself worked up so I waited a few minutes and tried again. I found the little bubba's heart beat low and right above my pelvic area, at the Dr.'s bubba was on the left. The doppler shows the heart beat rate and it took a little bit to get a reading b/c I think he/she kept moving around & I kept loosing the signal. Once I got it in a good position it showed between 151-156. I feel so relieved since it's been a week & I'm such a worry wort! :cloud9:

Thank you Purple...We will see...I dtd around key days..NTNP..but we will see. I am 2dpo I will test on Friday. keep u posted. Glad all is good with you and Bubba!!! Talk soon.

Hello all, how are you all?
Just checking in really.

I've had a couple of months of NT, because we had booked to go to Disneyworld and I didn't really want to be pregnant out there, especially in the first few months. Well, we're back now, so starting to try again now. I'm about 1DPO so got a long 2ww to go!

Quick show of hands, who's pregnant already??

Hi Minnie, good to hear from you :hugs:
I haven't been on this thread for a while either, but I know there is quite a few pregnant ladies here

We are still in limbo-land. DH had his SA today, now waiting for results. And my body apparently decided to stop TTC when it realized that we might have some male factor issues, and went into an anovulatory cycle. Good times, lol.

Hello..hope you had a wonderful trip. I had a mc in Dec. but feeling fine. I am about 4 dpo..we will see. Glad you are back in the game..good luck!!!

Hey ladies! I just wanted to come on and say goodbye for a while. It ended up being a chemical pregnancy and I miscarried again last night. Because this is the second miscarriage within 2 months of the first, I think I am going to sign off for a few months. I will still be trying, but I am going to focus more on myself and trying not to obsess of TTC. Unfortunately, this website doesn't help with that and I need to take a little break. I will be back though! I took blood tests today so I can get my Rhogam shot tomorrow and then I will make an appt with my doc for later on this week. Hopefully he can run some tests and see if there are any problems that's causing me to miscarry. Maybe be something hormonal that I may need shots for in the future. Who knows. Maybe just bad luck and third time's a charm! I have no problem getting pregnant as it happened the first time on both pregnancies, but something is causing me to miscarry.

For those little bumps out there, good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and I hope you keep seeing such great scans!

For those TTC, I am with you in spirit! Good luck and lots of baby dust!!

See you in a few months ladies!

Oh, I'm so, so sorry! Got my fingers crossed that you'll be back in a few months with a scan photo for us, but in the meantime, I hope the docs can figure out what's going on. Hopefully there's nothing going on and you'll be lucky next time.
Thinking of you x

Oh no, bbanner I am so sorry to hear your sad news :hugs: Taking a break from all the ttc chat is probably a good idea. Hi ladies, how is everyone doing? I just wanted to check in. I had my 16 week appointment this morning and all is well. I had the 2nd blood test done for the NT screening, if everything is good then I'll get a letter next week but if they find something I'll get a call by Friday. I'm nervous but not, from what I read, my age alone can affect the results. I asked about the Materni T21 Plus test in case something comes up, since I don't want an amino, and a local hospital is doing them so I could be referred to them.

My anatomy ultrasound is schedule for 3/4!! I'm so excited to find out what we're going to have. I hope February flies by, I remember last year saying that I couldn't remember what happened in February b/c it flew so I'm hoping for the same this year. :happydance:

How are you other ladies progressing? Any more BFP?

Sounds like everything is coming along nicely, Purpleivy. Have you had much sickness? Have you got much of a bump yet?

I just got AF this morning, so I'm out for another month :-(

This thread rather died down, didn't it?

I'm doing ok. Going to see a doctor tomorrow who will hopefully confirm my self diagnosis of PCOS/Insulin Resistance and prescribe some metformin to get my body working normally again.
So that makes me nervous, but hopeful.

Maybe everyone that used to chat in here is in another thread by now?

Yeah, pretty much.
I started mainly hanging out in the "TTC #1 >30yrs" thread, and will probably mainly switch to another (IVF) forum altogether.
As you can see in my changed signature, we won't be able to conceive naturally (DH was diagnosed with azoospermia), so the whole TTC talk got kind of frustrating for me (no real point for me to figure out when I ovulate since it doesn't really matter).

Minnie - I can't remember, but did you guys get checked out yet? Just saying that because I'm glad we did, although we've only been TTC for a few months. We would have been going for a year without the slightest chance. Of course I hope (and think) everything is ok with you, but personally I wouldnt recommend to wait an entire year.

Minuet - good luck with your appointment!

PurpleIvy - great that your pregnancy is going so well! Hopefully things will stay great for you!

Yes, things are going pretty good right now. I listen to the baby's heart beat everyday for comfort and still feel pretty good. Everyone at work now knows as does my family. It's nice to get it out there. I have a slight belly but I think it's bloat. I can't really suck it in all that much but now that people know I'm pregnant I feel better b/c they' won't think I'm just getting fat. :)

It has died down but I still like to check in with updates and see how everyone is doing. I basically self diagnosed myself w/PCOS and when I switched from a family doctor to a GYN it was confirmed and I was put on Metformin. I hope it works for you, it def. did for me. It was rough on my GI track for a week or so and gave it up once b/c of it but then decided to I stick it out and so glad I did.

Sorry to hear about your husbands condition. I hope you find a treatment that works for the both of you and it all works out.

I'll update again at 20 weeks with hopefully good new of what we're having, :blue: or :pink: I hope my little bubba cooperates.

Awww AuCa so sorry about your husband's sperm issue :( Must be so frustrating for you...but at least there's still hope for you...and I wish you lots of luck!! xx

Good to hear from you Purple Ivy :) Glad to hear all is well and progressing smoothly for you :D

I am now 15 weeks...and hopefully all is still great. I managed to find the hb of our LO on Mon and it's really the 1st time I have heard it clear as day (I have an anterior placenta - which makes finding it difficult). I am having my gender scan next Thurs on Valentine's day, and I hope they can tell what team we are :)

Good luck Minnie hun...sorry you got AF but here's to this cycle!!

Minuet, hope your doc can sort something hun and good luck xx

All the best to everyone else!! :flower:

Thanks PurplveIvy and Carlywarly!
The diagnosis is (for me personally) less frustrating than the waiting. But it is what it is...

Sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis AuCa, but at least it's good you found out sooner rather than later.
No, we've not been checked out, but we've only really been trying for about 4 or 5 cycles. I was at the doctor the other day for something and mentioned that we are haven't conceived and I exaggerated it to about 7 or 8 months, but she wasn't interested. Because we've already got one child, we know we can conceive, so she said give it at least a year.
