Making a poll thread

I just cant work out how you do it

I click the tick for add a poll to this thread but I dont know how too actually find where I write what I want in the poll

tick the post poll option then you need to take the next step and click post reply then it'll bring up the poll options.

I believe you need to write the thread first, then once you post it, it takes you to the next step of creating the poll questions.
