Chaos...keeping fingers crossed for you that everything stays put and your numbers go up!

My OB won't see anyone until you are at least 8 weeks gone, so I don't even have an appt until Oct 1. I hope they do a scan/ultrasound then. They told me the appt would take an hour, but I have no idea what on earth they are going to do to me for a WHOLE HOUR. The next 3 weeks are going to take forever!!

Doc did warn that they only see the heartbeat 80% of the time at this stage, which was nice to hear before the scan so I knew there would still be a good chance even if no HB was detected.

Its still early for a HB before 6 weeks, and like my doc said, they don't see the hb 20% of the time even at the 6 week mark, and everything is still fine.
There is a CHANCE you'll see a hb though, so I'll be hoping for that for you!! but I understand about not expecting one...I think thats smart to not get set up for disappointment/worry.

heyy i'm back from my appt! they put me at 5+6! and i saw the hb i'm trying to upload the pic but my computer is being lame and not reading my memory card.

YAY!!!!! SOOO glad you saw the hb!!! I know it wouldn't be 'bad' if you didnt since its early, but damn its reassuring to see it!!!
