Holy exhaustion...the pregnancy is like taking everything out of me. I feel like a baby all I do is eat, sleep, go to bathroom, repeat!!!

jlmeans0422- I am right there with you! I have a 4 year old, a 2 year old, I work, and I am trying to finish my degree. Between that and my symptoms, I am having a really hard time.

It will all be worth it in the end!

Thank you so much for the ladies who left feedback about birthing centers and hospitals; your stories and opinions were greatly appreciated. From what I’ve read from your posts and countless YouTube videos no one option is better than the other and no matter what you plan for you can always end up doing the opposite!

How is everyone feeling in terms of symptoms?

I have been very gassy (yuck) and still dealing with achy and sore boobs. I’ve also noticed that my stomach feels like
A bottomless pit. No matter how much I eat, I’m never satisfied. Lol

Different partner this time around and with having 3 girls and getting rid of everything when I had my last little girl.. I kinda need to know. Lol. X

My symptoms are just continuous nausea. All day and night, not been sick but come close a few times. Never had achy boobs and most annoyingly, my boobs have never gotten any bigger!! If anything they’ve shrunken with breastfeeding ����

I am finally getting more nausea. The rolling type that feels like it is just burning the stomach and like acid reflux that comes up the throat. Makes it hard to swallow food but I am glad for it It was too calm lol. I do not barf though and probably wont with this pregnancy either but I burp a lot. Got blood work for 2ND HCG draw at 2:00 PM eastern woot!

Stomach is feeling a lot better now that I been using Benefiber. It is helping to regulate me.

You and are both on the same boat with the burping! I had no clue that being gassy was a pregnancy symptom!

But I’ll take the burping over throwing up lol

Hi all! Congrats to all the new expectant mums in here!! I am struggling so much with nausea I just haven’t been coming in here. Every night I get in from work I want to crash on the sofa! I have dreadful motion sickness that lasts all day and constant dry heaving, I think I’d rather be sick in the morning and then that be it for the day, why can’t it be easy lol! Hopefully this feeling goes away in a few more weeks!! 8 weeks and 5 days today.... 3 weeks a 2 days countdown to see if this feeling goes away

Hi everyone! Mind if I join?

My tentative due date is May 10th! I’ve been following the thread for several days now but I’ve been way too scared to post until now. This pregnancy was a complete shock and I think I needed the doctor to tell me I was actually pregnant at my appt today before I believed it! I have my first scan scheduled for Oct 10th.

I was diagnosed with PCOS earlier this year, so my DH and I thought i would need some help getting pregnant, hence the huge surprise. DH and I have been married for three years and this will be our first baby. I’m excited to be on this journey with everyone

Rainbow I have had headaches too. The only thing I found helped was going to sleep!

Hoping and Ms I'm with you on the gas. I can't seem to help it I just feel sick but rather than be sick I just let out the biggest belch! It happened to me through most of my pregnancy with DS.

SweetTart I hear you on the exhaustion! I too am a full time mom to two (ages 5 & 2) AND work full time as a teacher. Plus I've had just SO much going on in my personal life that I've had something to do after work every single day..... plus dragging the kids along. So we're ALL exhausted - not just me, but the munchkins too I need a vacation and school just started up again about a month ago!

As for the question that went around about birthing centers and hospitals.... my ob-gyn only delivers at a hospital, so I did that for my last two (and will for this one as well). I am happy about that too, because despite going without pain meds for both of my kids, I did have some complications after my first (DD) and ended up needing medical attention/vaginal surgery/blood transfusions. I feel safer in a hospital in case of complications... but was still able to go pain-med free, so IMO, it worked out.

Makes me feel better that I’m not alone. I think it’s down to hunger mostly but I just don’t feel hungry. Tried sleeping it off today but 2 year old was not playing the nap game right this afternoon

We had our first appointment today and despite all of the time I spent worrying, everything looks to be progressing wonderfully. We are right on track, with bean measuring 7 weeks 4 days, which is what calculations told us we should be. And we got to hear the heartbeat, which clocked in at 157. DH and I are so in love. It feels real now in a way it didn’t before.
