Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

I am very not happy with them - It is their doctors afternoon today, so hopefully that should mean they will be here before that starts, which is at 2pm.... xx

I wouldnt be very happy either! They are being totally irresponsible. My MW has clinic this AM so she wont be here until after 12, but home visits run 8-2 so i assume this means she'll be here 12-2 some time lol

OH just rang up, there is no way of telling the difference between noise upstairs make and noise we make on the recording apart from the council coming out and listening to the noise we make from thier flat, so they can really fuck us over with this  OH just rang up he HA again but the woman we need to speak to isn't in til tuesday, and he is now ringing up his boss to try to get Tuesday morning off to go to the council, he was meant to go in Tuesday just gone, but obviously he was in hospital

I'd take that as good news wiggler... I'd like to see any court in the world convict you for a fine based on the readings if they cant pin point the location of noise! If anything comes of it, refuse the fine and insist they take it to court. Wont be the most pleasant experience, but will prove a point. Also the equipment will be dated and timed, so if you force it to court they'll have to put in a representative to confirm its from your flat, and then the times wont coincide with your routine, and I bet after a handful of days of this they wont get any noise readings that are out of the decible regulations and the case will be closed and it'll be another thumbs up in your corner hun! It'll prove them upstairs for the liers and trouble makers they are!

argh need a load on info for the housing benefit form :dohh: wel drop it all in monday morning as I need a letter from the council that I left at the house :dohh:
Got all the kitchen stuff today. Jack got to see the house this morning for the first time and loves his room. He took his wrestler toys up before school :haha: OH was up since 4am after he fed Leo and wanted to go to the house at 6am :haha: no way was I getting up that early. Im also losing my voice ebcause of my sore throat:dohh: I sound like marge simpson and my voice keeps cutting out when I speak. OH thought it was funny to make me order his coffee this morning when I could hardly speak :growlmad:

So, me and OH finally have a plan, we are going to try even harder to get the council to move us, from January we will be saving our arses off (would start sooner, but Dylan needs a new bed, the kids both need stuff and we need a few bits for the flat) if we are still stuck in this hellhole in Jan 2013 then we will privately rent. I'm also going to work on getting my pelvis stronger and getting my confidence up so I can get out more with the kids so we aren't stuck in this vile place all day.

Sounds like a positive plan hun!! I really hope it doesnt take that long though :hugs:

24 has the MW been yet??

Aww wiggler :hugs: you're neighbours are just awful, I really really hope this comes back bad on them. To be like this to a family with such small kids is beyond low:hugs: Sounds like you havea good plan though hun.

24/7, how are you doing today? Hope things are working out for you and you've seen the mw:hugs:

New, what you mean in your youth?! You're 28 right? same as me, are we old?!

sounds like little George had a good night:thumbup:

Eilidh slept from 11 to 5 last night without waking:happydance: Anja though was up and down like a yo yo so still didnt get much sleep:dohh:

pmsl I feel old sometimes lolol

I just spoke to my MW she is coming tomorrow at 10am instead of this afternoon! Its a good job its raining and I didnt want to go out!

I have a very grizzly little boy just now, he has been fed but not losened up much wind and he is proper kicking off! He is acting like he wants to go back on the breast but he literally just had 45 minutes and I need to go pick Joshua up arghh! Im sure he thinks going on the breast fixes his tummy he is totally drawing his knees right up and straining so he just wants me to help him shift the trapped wind, either that or my right breast isnt supplying enough milk, he gets very satisfied off the left very quickly. Its the right one that is stupidily painful too!

Hope little Anja is feeling better soon hun :hugs: but well done to Eilidh :)

New, its hard when they want to cluster feed right when you need to go out:dohh: I'm grateful Eilidh does this of an evening, atm we feed from around 4/5pm till around 9pm on and off side to side! Bfing does help colic while he is on the breast he will get some relief but unfortunately that doesnt leave you able to do much:dohh: Have you tried infacol? That stuff didnt work for us in the past but a warm bath, tummy massage and a small bottle of warm water have worked. Your right breast was the one you were not feeding as much from right? It is possible it has a drop in supply compared to the other side, only way to fix this is to offer him that breast first each time until it ups.

Anja is feeling very sorry for herself and is currently laying down on a makeshift bed in the living room watching Dora, Ruaridh has been helping me make cakes lol. Little Eilidh has been awesome this morning, 2 huge feeds then spent time rolling around and grinning at us all, even daddy got a smile in the shower:cloud9:

Inge lol at marge simpson voice, are you feeling any better?

Sam won't latch on, he gets too upset every time we try. :( I managed to express a few drops, but that was all so far for today.... xx

I am so grateful for the oversupply I had. It's great to know that when mastitis has severely decreased your supply you can still feed your baby boobie milk.

I average 18-23oz every morning. This mastitis has taken away my supply. After 11 hours of not emptying, I only managed 6.5oz this morning, total. I got less than 2oz from my newly infected breast after a half hour of pumping.

I hate this stupid infection crap. The last two weeks have been horrible for breastfeeding. If I didn't know it was best for her and if I wasn't determined to breastfeed, I'd have gone to formula by now.

Spent most of the day curled up in bed with Bethany snoozing, I'm still mega tired though. GRRRR!

wish i could sleep! leos been really cranky and crying all day and Iv lost my voice so not good. I have to find curtains/blinds for the house, look after Jack, try to sooth Leo and try to get hold of BIL to fit the cooker and take the mattress and cross trainer  way too much to do:nope:

24/7:hugs: Did your mw help? He will get there you just need to keep offering the breast. Are you doing skin to skin with him so he has constant access?

Wiggler, hope you get more rest!

Inge, eek! sounds like a crazy busy day:wacko:

Brandi:hugs:you're going though it! Hope you're starting to feel better

mummy - Hows Anja feeling?

Dylan is in a lovely mood this evening and Bethany has gone booby mad, she won't leave me alone

24/7, keep with it if breastfeeding is what you really want to do. You'll both get the hang of it soon. It can be frustrating for a baby to go from bottle to breast since a baby has to work for milk from a breast and not from a bottle.

Seriously though, go pick up some fenugreek and take 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day and pump and nurse like crazy. In about a week, you should start to see a supply. As you gain a supply, give the breastmilk first, then supplement with formula, slowly decreasing the formula as your supply increases.

Good luck!!

 I seriously think Im going to have to give George formula tonight. I cant let him near my right breast I swear the pain is worse than labour a million times over without pain relief  He is not getting satisfied with my left breast at all, he has been on it every hour and he only came off it about 10 minutes ago, fell asleep, and is awake wanting it again. Im pretty sure I cant be producing enough milk from one breast to supply him all day in cluster feeds??? Please dont tell me to grit the other side because I have tried so help me god I have tried and I cant. I had planned on getting a pump tomorrow to express the sore side and see how we go but I dont think Im going to get through the night cluster feeding on one breast. I dont know what to do for the best  Oh and I got my sister here and sooo not the kind of relationship i can relax and be myself around all I want to do is cry and I know if I do she'll go runningback to my mum and everyone will be worried and assuming Im not coping when i am its just hard!

:hugs: :hugs: Do what you think is best hun, don't forget a happy mummy = happy baby :hugs:

New, can you get to your mw or doc tomorrow? Leaving the right breast makes your risk of mastitis really high, get them to check for thrush also. For tonight, you will produce enough milk from one side to cluster feed, its demand based, some women feed solely from one breast. But he will wnt to feed from it more simply as he needs to up the supply to satisfy him. If you feel totally not up to that then you should give a bottle as a stressed mummy is not a happy mummy:hugs:

Wiggler, anja is not a happy bunny, hoping she comes round abit tomorrow and starts feeling better. Glad Dylans been so good:happydance:

Eilidh did her weekly poop while out and I made the mistake of changing her on my lap:dohh: Lol imagine a weeks worth!
