Hello Louisandcoco glad ur settled in but its a shame u dont have long before ur on the move again, weve only been in this flat for 4 months and we are moving to germany next week, i cant wait im so excited

Hey all...my DH just swore into active duty Army. Do any of you have any advice for a newbie? He leaves for 6 months come January. x

ETA Just have a few questions...how often do you get stationed to different places? How do you like army life? How do you handle deployments with your husband being gone so long, expecially with kids? How do your kids handle moving/dad being away? I am pretty excited about moving around. I know this is a serious commitment, I'm a bit scared/excited/nervous all rolled into one. Not looking forward to the 6 month seperation but I'm glad because atleast I know he's safe. I think the first deployment will be really rough.
