Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Hi Nikita!

Maybe Oliver's feet seem too big for normal size threes, too wide . . . . I think G is the widest fitting at Clarks :haha: I'm hoping that these ones will actually stay on his feet!

Oliver is sat playing nicely in his playpen! :happydance:

emera - r your periods regular? when did u get them back? after erin mine came between 21-33days but now on cd35 and no sign still!

danny in a foul mood and has gone back to sleep leaving me to look after kids whilst doing ironing :growlmad:

Maybe - My periods aren't regular and never have been, i have to test after my longest cycle length every time, which makes me very impatient, as that is 50 days! I'm 15 days in to my cycle for now, i could have a period tomorrow or in a months time :haha: Fingers crossed you are still irregular due to the BF Maybe :hugs:

am seriously pissed off :grr: why can he go and shut himself in the bedroom leaving me with the kids and the chores :growlmad:

Is he still not up?!?!?!?! Time to get the hoover out :haha:

Steve is still in bed too but he did work last night. I thought he might get up so we could do something, as he's not working tonight and we at least need the supermarket, but I tried to wake him at half 12 and got to where :grr: So I feel your pain! I get to the point where I feel like just going out without him, but then he will just say I should have woken him, even though if I woke him he'd be a grumpy sod and TBH, its just not worth it.

Grrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy - I love watching Joni eat too! It is just mesmerising watching her learning all the time. She tried cherries, de-stoned of course, this lunchtime which seemed to go down pretty well

Sarah - Mother Cluckers  :haha: that is pure dead brilliant  The lentil loaf was easy peasy, I found the recipe on a BLW forum/website somewhere. I will dig it out and post it later.
I am so pleased that the playpen is working out for you  Joni quite likes having alone time in her's sometimes.
I would just go out if I were you. It is hard when your OH works and then just wants to relax and sleep at the weekend when we just want to share the childcare load and do nice things together

Maybebaby - Over and hour huh, sounds promising  I loop Joni's necklace round her ankle at night and she always has little indentation marks when she wakes up. Personally, if it is just the beads leaving little round marks I would not worry, if it is the elastic cutting in then I would not be overly happy with that.
Can you get away with just asking Danny today to get up with the kids tomorrow? When you ask you could drop in that he said he offered a while back and you really need to take him up on the offer now you are unwell.
Bad Danny :grr: I really don't know how you stop yourself from lacing his food with laxatives sometimes mwahhahahaha I am in an evil mood today

:hi: Nikita. Congratulations on your little one. Do you have a wee lassy or laddie?

Emera - I am so excited for you TTC again :flower: I hope you enjoy some quiet time this weekend.

I hope you are feeling better L-C

So last night I managed an hour's sleep in my bed before Joni woke and proceeded to be wide awake and really grumpy. After several hour's of babbling and wailing I ditched the futon and relocated to the sofa where Joni eventually went back to sleep around 4.30 for a couple of hours  I know it is her teeth bothering her, I tried to put some bonjella on her top gum last night and she would not lift her lip to let me put it on. This morning the teeth look more prominent and closer to the surface of the gum. I accidently fell asleep putting Joni down for her nap this morning and woke up an hour and a half later :dohh: I was so irritated with myself as I had lots to do and only wanted Joni to have 45 minutes  Ah well, clearly we both needed the rest. I really don't know how you keep going Maybebaby :hugs:

So not much going on here today, Joni and I went back and bought a portable highchair/booster seat thingy from the lady we got the rucksack carrier from. So I have just spent 30minutes miltoning the chair to make sure it is squeaky clean ready to test tonight. The lady also managed to flog me a ride on fimbles toy thingy which Joni absolutely loves - I have no-where to put it but Joni's face when she sat on it was such a vision of pure joy I could not leave without it, I am such a soft touch

Better go as I need to catch up on the jobs I didn't do this morning

frufru - you're a great bargain hunter  we dont get anything like that here in gib :(

sarah - hope steve got up. i know what you mean that you cant win. he strops if i stay in and the kids wake him but also can get stroppy if i make my own plans without him. lose lose!

i didnt post the long version of today's saga as i was on my phone earlier. well this is what happened. feel free to skip! well we said we'd do something today when we were chatting yesterday. danny was in foul mood this morning as kids were watching kids tv and that really pissed him off :dohh: i finally convinced him to go somewhere but hew stayed on the sofa whilst i got the kids and myself and the bags ready and then he got up and went to shower/change etc. we were drivivng and he was obviously not wanting to be there. then dylan said his tummy hurt (he gets car sick) i said to danny 'his tummy hurts' and he said 'what do you want me to do?' and i said 'stop' (obviously :growlmad: ) but he stopped too late and dylan vomited everywhere. i took him out of the car when he stopped. cleaned him, the car seat and the car where the vomit had splashed whilst danny just sat there. then i got back in and said 'his trousers are soaked, we'll have to get him some cheap ones' and he said 'yeah i just shit money' and i had had enough so i said 'it's that or go home' so he turned the car around and came back to gib :grr: we got a mcdonalds takeaway and got home. he ate whilst i changed dylan and fed the baby before i had a chance to eat and without offering to help with anything :growlmad: and then he went to the bedroom and closed the door and is still there. he's asleep and i am seriously pissed off. i wanted to clean the mould off erin's room but i can't with the 3 kids around and a me with a bottle of bleach! he can't even sit and watch them whilst i do the chores. i have to do everything and then he complains the flat is a shithole! maybe if he did a bit it wouldnt be so messy :nope:

frufru - i dont know if it's worth maybe getting owen an amber necklace? what do you think? do you think it's too girly?

Oh Maybebaby, I would be freaking furious!!!!!!!!! :gun: :grr: :growlmad: :hissy: ](*,) :nope:

I don't think an amber necklace is girly at all. There are some lovely pics on google images of little lads wearing them. Amber pumpkin do different colours of necklace so you could choose one that you felt was the most masculine. I bought a dark cherry amber necklace for myself and it is lovely - the baby equivalent would be one of these: https://www.amberpumpkin.com/amber-teething-necklaces/round-bead-amber-teething-necklace.html. What I love about the teething necklaces is that they can wear them up until about 4-5 when they grow out of them. I was reluctant at first to part with the pennies but to be honest the amount of money I have spent on teething toys, powders and gels etc is easily more than double the cost of the necklace :dohh: I figure it will also be a lovely keepsake to put in Joni's memory box for her to use for her children one day :)

Oh my goodness, Joni is copying waybuloo!!!!!! She just squeaked when they did mouse and roared when they did lion :cloud9: so cute

frufru - how cute of joni :cloud9:

its 7.20 and dannys still in bed! am not happy :grr:

Maybe I would be so so angry.

We have been out all day in Birmingham went to the jewellery quarter and found my wedding ring! and then spent hours walking round the shops and have decided to have our gift list at debenhams and we are going to set it up in a fortnight when they have an event on so we get a free bottle of bubbly! The creche idea is going down well with people so far which is good ... we are still going to keep children numbers to a minimum tho!

Right I need to re assess our wedding budget!

Hope everyone is ok. x x x

h&f - i'm glad you had a lovely day :)

well he got up at 8, went to the toilet and went back to bed!!! :saywhat: i went in and said 'can you help me with something please?' and he said 'like what' and i said 'bath owen or help with the food' and he said 'i dont feel well' WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have been ill with a cold for days and still done everything and it gets to the weekend and he's too ill to help. i am fuming! he can rot in the bedroom! then he has the cheek to say that he hardly sees the kids! when i get them to sleep i am getting dinner for me and he can bloody starve :hissy::grr::hissy::growlmad::hissy:

Maybe :grr: to Danny! Is he up yet? Steve got up at half two and because he'd woken on his own he was actually quite cheerful :haha: We have been to the supermarket so I'm glad that's done, goodness knows how we always manage to spend so much though!

FruFru how cute, clever Joni!! Well done with your bargains! I hope you had a lovely relaxing day, how's your hubby?

HandF yay for the rings! Hope the budget is holding up well :)

sarah - glad steve got up!!!

owen is going through a bad boobie biting stage and keeps biting and tugging on my nipple. he's done it so hard tonight my nipple is bleeding :( perfect end to a crap day! the only fun i've had was playing hide and seek with the kids and hiding behind the shower curtain in the bath and then jumping out when they couldnt find them and pretending i was a monster :haha::rofl: you have to find the rainbow through the rainclouds i guess!

Oh Maybe :grrr: I would be so angry as well. Can't believe he expects you to do everything!

Frufru That's really cute that Joni was copying Waybuloo. Oliver loves Waybuloo too, and gets super excited when ever De Li or Lau Lau come on the screen. His little arms shake and everything!

H&F glad your wedding plans are really coming together. The creche sounds like a great idea.

All this talk of food is making this thread sound like third trimester again!

Oliver had a bad day today  I was out this morning for a couple of hours helping with Communion classes, and my H said Oliver spent around 80% of the time crying and looking at the door, and he kept having to walk around and show him I wasn't there. When I got back as Oliver was so excited to see me, My H was holding him and he was trying to push him out of the way to get to me. Then this afternoon he fell sideways onto a small plastic box and bumped his cheek. My poor H is pretty down too, as he was the one playing with him when it happened. It's just one of those things, and he was fine after a cuddle and some milk.

Muddles - Amy seems to fall all the time at the moment but she insists on standing up until her legs give way and then falls over!

Maybe - how are you getting on?

Sarah - the budget isnt great as the creche and food for babies is an additional cost and I dont know how much that will be yet and the rings are more expensive than I budgeted for as well as the flowers being super expensive. Hoping to get the costs down somewhere tho!
