Hey Maybe!! Wow you sound very prepared and excited for nye!! I must confess i will probably be in bed hours before midnight!!! lol!! I hope you have a fab time
In case I don't post again - happy new year to you all!! I cant believe our babies will be 3 soon and the new ones will be one OMG time flies!!! I wonder if 2013 will bring any more new little bundles of joy???!!!!!

Mork, I too will be in bed before midnight I expect! OH is working until about 1am, so I won't be waiting up, assuming F lets me sleep!

We had a lovely Christmas here, Roh really enjoyed it, and F was very smiley, even though Roh has basically commandeered all her toys! I've really hurt my back, and can barely move. Its not too bad if I'm dosed up on painkillers. Makes me glad I stopped bf a month ago, as it means I can take really good painkillers without any guilt or feeding issues. Very ouchie!
I was sad to stop bf, but we are all a lot happier for it and F is doing great, itt wasn't easy at the time to make the decision, but now its made and we've stopped its heartening to know it was the right thing to do, if that makes sense?
F is standing unaided all the time now, she'll be walking before long I'm sure. She says "mama" "dada" "nana" and "bubu" (RohRoh) too, and actually uses them appropriately! I find it amazing really, as Roh never did the sort of babbling that she has been doing or used any sounds with meaning for flipping aaages from now, comparatively! She's such a sociable little soul though, so it doesn't surprise me that much from that point of view.

Happy new year ladies - we spent the evening in hospital with a poorly Eva. All home now though and fingers crossed she improves without having to go back in.

H&f what was wrong with Eva?

We are all shattered today! Kids were up til 1am and I fell asleep on sofa after our families left at 2.30am! Was a great night though! Kids (and us adults) loved the fireworks we set off and the ones we saw from the living room window at midnight! Food I made went down well and Dan helped me with the washing up this morning! Shock horror!!! maybe doing more round the house is his resolution for this year! Fingers crossed!!! kids and I having a pj day. Dan is working 2-10pm

Is anyone hoping to get pregnant again this year? We had a slip up the other week but I was only cd8 so I think I'm pretty safely not pregnant! I was actually thinking that maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I were though....... Dan definitely doesn't want any more though and having reached the grand old age of 35 (eek!!!) it's not really sensible. Still a newborn would be nice!

Maybe- Eva has bronchitis they think and has been really chesty. They let us come home as she is still feeding but if she gets worse she will get admitted.

We won't be getting pregnant this year ... We have agreed we will once Eva is at Pre school. Saying that I am really happy with just the 2 at the moment!

Maybe - your nye sounds fab and way to go with having help with clearing up - lets hope that's here to stay for 2013 and beyond!!

Maybe - dh wants us to but i want to wait a little longer - maybe when e is 9 months - a year! We defo want a third and aren't getting any younger so he does have a point!! Are you sure you cant persuade dan???!!!! x

No way he's unpersuadable I know it's stupid to want a 4th. We're pushed for space in our 3bed flat and can't afford anything bigger!

We've been ntnp for about 5 months, but I'll be glad if nothing happens until we've moved house! Once we've moved we'll make more of an effort!

In other news, I may have to cut Roh's hair for the first time. He's being a real pain about having it washed and sorted, particularly having it dried. I found a big scabby patch above his ear where I think its been staying damp too long, and he won't let me brush it. Seems easier to just cut it short. Those of you with girls, how do you deal with the hair thing? I need tips!

Emera - we have 6 children between us! It's a bit crazy. I've only trimmed Alex's hair twice - I have the same issues with washing though, he gates it! I'm interested to hear how you get on!

Maybe - I'm sorry you can't convince Dan

Well as you're all talking about babies I'll let you into a little secret. I'm about 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. It was a massive shock and still doesn't seem real. I've had some bleeding and bad cramps. They scanned me and I have two haematomas. Another scan next thurs. There was a heartbeat but it was 2 weeks less than what I thought in size so I don't know if it's okay. It's very stressful and still rather OMGish!! No one on Facebook knows xx
