Finally have something to tick off the list. Got earls cars onesie that he asked for for his birthday. £11 off eBay delivered. Just waiting for payday so we can get his other pressies.
 
Ooh ooh naughty of me but needed cheering up as hubby has gone for the week. Bought my star for the top of my tree and an ice skate bauble for the tree too :D

Cannot wait now. :D
 
So very very excited. Was amazon browsing last night and found hubbys perfect present!!!! He's normally the last person i get sorted so this is huge!! Lol

What makes it better is that its some cufflinks which he loves...ice hockey related....for £9!! Woohoo :)
 
Ordered earl a hat and gloves set - Dusty crophopper.

Christmas is giving me a headache lol....... So much to do. Only 11 days and its earls birthday so then i can concentrate lol.
 
Hat has arrived. 2 more bits to get and his cake to sort then we're done. Had to have a but if a rethink about his main present but will probably get him a pair of nerf guns and some Lego instead of the Rc car as funds are a bit tighter than anticipated. Still excited.... Cant believe he's 5 in 10 days time!!!
 
Earls presents are ordered. Hopefully they'll be here wednrsday. He has 2 nerf guns plus 30 darts,a planes art set, planes hat and scarf, cars PJs and an animal puzzle. I need to get him a book but will be out shopping tomorrow as still need to get his cards and cake stuff. Excited!!
 
Hope he has a good birthday, my 2 october birthdays have been and gone now, were the 13th and 20th.
 
Thanks. They're here! I feel a bit better about the quantity now that they're here as they fill a box lol. I felt a bit stingy lol.

I will be glad when his birthday/half term is gone (not wishing it away but then it'll be Christmas 100% lol). Have so much left to do...its so exciting lol.

I'm struggling at the moment. I need orange icing for his cake and i cant find it anywhere. May have to buy food colouring instead and knead it in :S . making a Saturn/space themed cake so wish me luck! Lol
 
Good luck. Have you got a specialist cake shop near you? I know you can get all sorts of colours on amazon but not sure it would arrive in time now.
I ended up having to but ds4 one because I had a cake disaster lol
 
There used to be one but nit sure if its still there. I don't need much (need a planet's worth lol) so may just try a different colour or get the food colour Like i said. I have the black and white and just need yellow plus the orange. Still need ribbon too....eek! Lol starting tomorrow evening so if it fails can still buy one lol
 
Birthday went well. Cake was a success. I now feel like i can focus on Christmas and having sat an redone my list tonight i'm panicking lol. Halloween next though and half term activities to get through!

Oh and earl got a scooter from his auntie so now i am waiting until he does his list to complete his list lol. Got to distribute the boys lists yo family next week too!
 
I'm glad his birthday went well. I'm expecting people to start asking what to get them soon. I need to redo my lists. But with the boys home and 2 being able to read I will have to try to find time in the evening or wait till they are back to school.

Its so hard to think what to get them. Then family either disregard my requests or buy more on top. I am petrified of duplicates lol. My mum us pretty good at following orders lol. This year I've told her we need books and lots of them for all 3 boys so i think she'll be OK. Fil normally sends clothes which earl thinks is great lol. Mil and soil though go overboard and i have to try to reign them in. I tend to give them a list if about 4 things and they split it between them but then add selection boxes, sticking fillers and extra presents. They buy more than we do i think! Lol

I'm glad earl is still pretty vague with his reading although he managed to figure out that i had bought him a puzzle when he saw that written down. I'll have to be more careful from now on i think.
 
My BIL and MIL are the worst. My mum isn't too bad, she will buy according to their likes or if I tell her something specific then she'll buy that. She will usually check before buying whether I have got it or not too. She does go over the top though.
BIL asks and the ignores what we have told him and both he and mil will wait till we tell them what we have bought then buy a duplicate. BIL had managed to do it for ds2s last 3 birthdays and 2 Christmases. And ds1 last Christmas too.
I wouldn't mind really if they had just gone and got it and it was a coincidence, and with 4 of them sometimes a duplicate isn't a bad thing as they can both be that character or whatever. But it's the fact they have asked and chosen to ignore me and buy something they were specifically told not to. And mil always buys them pjs but buys too small. I can at least pass them on but it means ds1 ends up with none that fit and whatever she buys ds4 won't get worn at all.
 
Oh god clothes sizes are a nightmare lol. I always specify what size but they still biy wrong....its like they don't believe that my 1yo needs 2-3tops!! Lol
 
My eldest has always been like that, bigger size on top. At 8 he has 9-10 tops. Mil knows he always had bigger size clothes his whole life, and his birthday is feb so at Christmas he'll just be starting to out grow all his current clothes. But because he is 8 she'll buy 8-9, even though she knows by mid jan he'll want 10-11! Even the others who are the right sizes for their ages , ds2 just turned 7 so needs 7-8 clothes in anything new he has, but she'll get him 6-7.
 
My mum is the opposite with clothes. When they were 7,5 and 3 she bought 10-11, 8-9 and 5-6. I so passed them up, but ds3 didn't have anything. Luckily that time it was just a parcel she sent rather than Christmas so I just stuck them in the wardrobe and didn't make a fuss about it when they wore them abc thy didn't really notice lol
 
2 gifts and possibly 4 stocking bits sorted today. Book arrived for Edward, and got some bath toys from morrisons. A set for £3 as a gift for Charlie and then 2 sets of squirters for 98p each :) also arranging collection for 2 small waybuloo teddies from a friend for Charlie and Edwards stockings. Hopefully get them today :)
 
Charlie s stocking filler number 2 arrived today. Waybuloo toothbrush :)
