Not Knowing Whether I'm Ovulating or Not is so Frustrating :'(

Mrs JSH - I have dreams like that all the time! I wake up, shout at him and he laughs at me!! tehe thing's are just playing on your mind, we've only been trying for 2 months, 1 month properly and I'm already frustrated with it!
I was sooo naive to think it would happen straight away!! lol


I took the weekend off too! sorry It's taken me this long to get on! haha

although I think I maybe OVed over the past day or two, just looking at my temps thats all! so fingers crossed I get another high temp and OV will have come!! although I think this means I'm officially in the TWW eek!!

Mrs JSH I'm sorry to hear that though at least you're now prepared for next time! Well I'm still having af-like pains but no af. I don't want to test yet as I don't know exactly when af is due. I can't face a load of negative test results. xx

So ameeann and cmarie33, you both are technically still in the running! Fingers crossed for you both! And Imsotired, have you heard anything else from your doctor? What about almosthere? Any news from you?

I just talked to my doctor (literally got off the phone a minute ago and came straight to bnb, lol). She said that she is going to prescribe me provera and is calling the pharmacy today, but she wants me to take another hpt tonight just to make sure, and start them tomorrow. (I take the provera for 10 days and should start my af one week after I finish the pills, in case you guys don't know about it) If the provera doesn't start af for me, then I have to go in for bloodwork (SCARY!) so I'm hoping it will just work. It's nerve wracking but at least I feel like it's a step in the right direction. Funny that this will probably be the last time I will actually be hoping to get my period... lol.

sounds like your iling to ov any day now must have mis read you lol. mine goes sort of dark for a week before going positive. I was panicing last month as I thought I had luteal phase defect, think im turning into a hypocondriac lol. hope you get your positive opk soon x

I'm going for bloodwork on sat. Which I absolutely hate but I'm hoping that they at least find out what is wrong and help me out. I'm a nervous wreck and completely miserable. I hate going for bloodwork and talking with drs there is something about it that makes me nervous. It's so strange that I do it all the time though and it still upsets me. ugg

The dr said just to go for the bloodwork. I'm still only cd51 so they didn't think anything else is necessary unless the tests come out strange. They said it is probably just from the bc still. But to be sure nothing else is going on and that I am ovulating the bloodtests will work fine. They will decide what to do afterward. I hope that it is still just the bc and nothing else. I absolutely hate bloodwork and I will prob have an anxiety attack in the office lol. They also cost a fortune! I'm hoping my insurance will cover it because I've already had some bloodwork for my reg physician this year. Oh well here's hoping for the best. Thanks cmarie, and ilovemyhubby! JSH I hope the provera works for you!

Listen to this ladies. As some of you know my cycles are all screwy from bc and this is my second strange cycle since. I'm on cd53. The last day or two I've had some very mild cramps and twinges. I've also been super emotional like PMS. My boobs haven't been too sore though which is usually my af giveaway! So yesterday I spotted a few times. Brown, sticky, only noticeable when I wipe about 3 times(I'm sorry...tmi). I thought for sure here comes af and I was almost relieved. Today I haven't seen a spot yet. I've had a cramp here and there but nothing like af! Is af trying to start? This sort of happened on Nov 20th also but it was only once and it was much lighter but I decided it may have been because dh and I did the bd. Any ideas what is going on here?

I tested on monday ,bfn. I'm beginning to think that maybe coming off of bc has changed some of my af symptoms? Maybe My af is starting and it's just starting slowly?

Maybe you should wait a week and test again? Thats what I'm goinng to do if af doesn't get me by then. And I'm going for my bloodwork probably a week after tomorrow.

I wish I had answers for you girls, I know how frustrating all this is, especially when you have no idea what is going on. I think I'm going to start doing some research online this weekend about the long-term effects of birth control and see what I find... It amazes me how many women like ourselves our having all these issues (most likely due to bc use) and yet it is never discussed in any way before you go on in it or while you are on it for an extended period of time.

hey ladies, I think BC totally messes up AF symptoms! since coming off bc I ve had sore boobs, cramps, twinges, major mood swings (was crying in costa yesterday barely over anything at all!!! lol) tiredness, nausea . . . you name it, I've had it!!

also . . . I think doctors should warn ladies of child bearing age of the after effects of the BCP before they go on it, and tell them to come off it at least 6 months before you want to TTC!!

I will never go on it again!!!
I'm having so much stress this month, not knowing whether I'm ovulating or not and it's all because of the BCP! I'm so annoyed!!!
and to make it worse, I couldn't rely on the first 7 temps this month as I was poorly and my temps were abnormally high for me . . . I'm starting to think I ovulated in those days ya know!!
gah . . . guess I'm just gonna have to wait it out and see!
