Just got my second beta back. 10dpo was 12.9. Today at 13dpo it was 110. I almost fell out of my chair!

They don't really do betas here in Aust unless you're high risk I think or going through a fertility specialist. Today's test for me is dark so I feel happy to stop testing now I will probably call the midwifery clinic around 8wks to see if they can see me for my appointments

The same here in SA, they just do 1 to see how far you are to determine which date the appointment should be, my OBGYN only see pregnant patients between 8 - 12 weeks of pregnancy. However, If I look at the progression my tests made, I am happy and sticking to that.

If I want more tests/earlier scans I need to go to an RE, which I dont think is necessary. I just need to keep my curiosity under control and wait for 8 weeks (about 3 weeks from now)

ttc126 that's amazing!!! Mine today was 78 (also 13dpo I think) which I know doesn't mean much until I do my second draw on Thursday but I'm happy with it. With my first my draw at 12dpo was 20 so I'd say 78 is good The reason I get the testing done is because I take fertility drugs to get pregnant and I guess that increases the chance of a chemical. I really like it though because it saves me a bit of money on tests!

Hows everyone feeling and when are you planning on announcing? DH wants to wait forever but I'm super impatient

Sweet pea that's great!!!! I did clomid this cycle so this is a clomid baby ❤ Did you get progesterone levels checked too? My level was 101 then 140! Super high!

I'm feeling a bit queasy but mainly sooooo tired! How's everyone else doing?

I'm not sure when I'll announce.... maybe I'll see if people figure it out

Got my betas back from yesterday, 15dpo ... 778

This could very well be another twin pregnancy (my last pregnancy was twin, lost one around 9 weeks!

First ultrasound at 8 weeks on the 28th at 10am

Before I got pregnant I thought we'd just keep this one to ourselves for a while, but I just can't help myself!!! It's just so exciting I can't keep my mouth shut! On the very day I found out I'd already told my DH, family and a couple friends. Now my mum's group knows, MIL and a few more friends haha.

Pinkpassion wow! That would be a shock! How exciting. I wish I had a scan booked already to look forward to. I could see the same ob I saw when I was pg with DS and he has a scanner in his office but I kinda just want to go through the midwives this time so I'd have to wait til 12wks! So long away!

My RE is wondering if I've got more than one on board because my progesterone was 101 and hcg had a very fast doubling rate. But I've got awhile to wait lol so no sense speculating 😂

I don't know my doubling time yet, I go back tomorrow for my next set of betas, results Thursday!!

Wow, so exciting! Won't it be funny if we have multiple multiples on this thread?!

I go in for my first appointment next Tuesday, I'll be right at 5 weeks. Excited, but being a first time pregnancy no idea what to expect. Is it the usual protocol to get betas? I'd love to know hcg and progesterone.

Tikatika, hi! Back when I was in a feb 2015 group we had 3 sets of twins!! Haha it's fun to wonder about but I am a bit doubtful I could be THAT blessed ❤
I think they may just give you a due date etc at your appt. The reason I get betas is because I've had so many losses. But it's not super common unless you're on fertility treatments or had previous issues ❤ Let us know how it goes!

Level rise from Monday at 10 am to today at 10 am was good! 476 to 1210, and my Dr was really pleased and said I could take a deep breath haha and relax. I have a scan scheduled for the 14th and I'll be 6 weeks 5 days so I might even get to hear a heart beat!
