Well in pregnancy the cervix goes higher but that can happen in early preg of after a few weeks.. but thought I would check!

I just googled it and when i tried it made me feel reallllly nauseous! Who knows if i even really felt it. I am clueless when it comes to the cervix.

The cervix moves depending on the point you are in your cycle. Your most fertile period is when your cervix is high, soft and open. When it's firm it feels very much like the end of your nose, its kind of gristly feeling like cartilidge. I find it's easier to locate my cervix when sort of squatting, almost like being on the toilet, or with one leg on the toilet. If you've had a baby before your cervix will always feel slightly open, like a small slit, however if you've not had a baby before the opening will be more round. It takes practice If its uncomfortable, I'd suggest using a bit of sperm friendly lubricant like conceive plus or pre-seed to make it easier to slide your finger/s in. If it's really uncomfortable then don't do it and just monitor your cervical mucus x

Hi Ladies, I'm currently cycle day 17! Here's a little recap on this months cycle so far, I started my period the 25th of September and it went for 5 days, I've BDED the 30/31/1/3/4/6/9 so far, plan on BDING again tonight as I just on cycle day 17 got a to hat I believe positive OPK! I had the clear stringy discharge on the 8th and then had EWCM the 9th when we BDED what are my chances ladies, I'm very hopeful this is the first OPK with this dark of line!

What do you ladies think?

I don't think that OPK looks positive yet. To me the test line looks lighter than the control line though you don't indicate which line is which so I'm going by the line order of my own tests.

6DPO over here. I'm excited that my TWW is halfway over! I'm not trying to symptom spot because it drives me crazy, but I normally have sore/heavy boobs right after O and this time nothing really. My nipples are slightly sore and sensitive, but that's about it. I'm hoping lack of symptoms might mean something.
My plan is to test on the 14th... I'll be 11dpo then. My husband is going away that weekend so I'm hoping to know before then. Otherwise I have to wait until he gets back on Monday to tell him, which would be really hard for me to do!

Ohhh, I can totally relate!!! I noticed my nipples are sensitive but then again, I felt them to see if they were For all I know they're always sensitive to the touch during PMS and I wouldn't know because I had never checked.
I'm 11dpo (I think, first cycle TTC so I could be off) and got a BFN
I'm nauseous, but that could be nerves/anxiety.
I started to cry twice yesterday because I was cranky, which...o.k, that is totally unlike me, but could just be anxiety.

All in all- I feel like I am hyping myself up and causing "symptoms" from my own anxiety but I'm happy that I can at least admit that, helps me keep some sanity

Aquiss18 - I agree with everyone. It looks like you are very close to a positive. However OPK's never seem to work for me, but I think it's because I only test once a day due to working crazy hours.

Gizette - I can completely relate. My fingers are crossed for you for your BFP

So this morning when I plugged in my temperature (which has been 97.73 the last three days in a row) FF moved my crosshairs to November 5th. Which is two days later than my initial o date. What do you girls think? I'm not sure if FF will move them back or not. Frustrating, but either way I'm 5dpo or 7dpo

MAJOR temperature drop today. Sooooooo that's a bummer. But here's hoping I see AF for the first time in 2 years so that I can start fresh in December! All the best to the rest of ya testing over the next few weeks

I'm out for Nov due to onset of first menstrual cycle in NINE years!!! Exactly 28 days since last BCP, so moving to Dec thread with newly found optimism.

well I am back...4 days late, icky feeling, no sign of Af coming, but i do have strong cramps off and on ughhh...will test at some point LOL hate waiting, but scared of the BFN....

8DPO here, not really many signs. I had some serious cramping yesterday morning, but it's way too early for AF. I still have some dull cramping/mild pressure in my lower abdomen today. My nipples are slightly tender, but that's about it in that department. I'm quite pale so you can usually see my veins, but they do look like they are a little more visible. My temperature went up some today so I'm hoping it's a good sign.

Well I'm officially out, everyone. AF showed up today - I'll admit that after two years, I was relieved to see her. This was my first month charting and based on my temps, I was expecting her to arrive today which is SO NEAT! I'm officially a charting addict.

Anyways, nice chatting with you ladies. I hope I don't see a single one of you in the December testing thread
