Hello everyone! I am just popping over from the bfp before xmas thread and just realised that yes, if I manage to wait it out, and if my period doesn't show up, that I will be testing on the 1st of November, which is also my hubby's birthday.

You have no idea how much I would love to give him a positive result for his birthday... that would be one to remember! But, even if I do manage the miracle of conception, how on earth can I stay away from peeing on a stick for THAT LONG?! haha

I don't want to get my heart set on it, but I just love the idea of his birthday present being the news that he's going to be a daddy, how fantastic!

Just got a text from friend saying she's pregnant and wanted to tell me before she goes public as she knows we're trying. The guy is 8 yrs younger then us wasn't planned as she's been with him 5 mins. So upset and pissed off. She didn't even want kids.

hun i am so so sorry this is one of the hardest things to cope with while ttc is people around you popping up pregnant it hurts even more when they have not been with the person long or if it was just an 'oopsie' so i am so sorry don't be sorry about needing a rant hun , we are all hear to listen and support you!

I'm so sorry Hun! I know how you feel...a friend of mine did that to me...only she asked how my testing was going and I told her well I wasn't pregnant yet so not good...and shes like oh that sucks..and I asked her what's new and shes like oh a lot actually...me and so and so are getting married here in a few months cuz I just found out I'm pregnant!.....its like really!!!! Here she cheated on him...and he still as far as I knew didn't know...and she told me that she didn't want to get married for awhile...and most likely didn't want kids...so I kinda know how it feels. sucks!

My biggest pet peeve with women who are pregnant is if they constantly complain about it. Yeah, I get that pregnancy is not a cakewalk, but the particular person I am speaking of has had no complications so far and is in her third trimester. When my mom was pregnant with my little brother she had to go on bedrest and had a lot of issues but never complained once, she was just so happy to take care of her child. I just feel like complaining about something so wonderful in your life is horrible in itself but also insensitive to those who may be trying (she posts it publicly on facebook, it's not like it's just a little complaint here and there between close friends).

Of course, she is an exception to the rule, I have several friends/family members who are pregnant that have been absolutely wonderful.

Good morning everyone! I'm doing pretty good. About to O maybe on the 21st so getting ready to BD a lot this week. I've been trying to have more patience since the waiting is the hardest part. I also realized that my LP is pretty short (8-9 days) so I've been taking B6 to hopefully make it longer. I hope it works.
