As for TTC I'm so confused about what my body is doing. Pre-LO I had 26-28 day cycles but now I went off the pill July 5th and stopped BF a couple weeks ago, yet nothing! I took a test Tues (wanted a margarita at dinner w my girlfriends ) and that was definitely negative

Anybody else have their cycle longer after having your first?? Never in my life has it been more than 28, at least until I was pregnant!

So tired of the waiting game

Yes Hun my cycles got longer after LO and I was having 33 day cycles- I tracked them with an I-pod app which was really handy and it made TTC a lot easier too

I got off the pill end of June... right before my July AF I guess. And my dd is 16 months old. First cycle was same as on the pill, but second one started a 2 days early which threw me off... I'm using the fertilityfriend app and its all confused now. I'm guessing things will even out in a few months and get more predictable.

When I first came off the pill i was getting over 60 day cycles so you can imagine how stressful that was, they have now settled (after about a year and a half) to 30 odd day cycles, they will return to normal x

I am just starting my 5th cycle. Waiting to O at the end of the week or next weekend. Although we have moved to full on ttc this month. OH is joining the military next year and he wants to see his LO born before he goes in. With that being said I think I'm having to plan for a baby and a possible wedding!! LOL! OH keeps talking about spousal support and what not with the military so I think things will be progressing soon in our relationship! I'm really excited!!

My OH has applied to join the army and has his second interview this week, then I think he has the selection process so I'm hoping he does well for that ! He wants to try for our next baby now tho we have not long got back together after a short break not sure if we would be rushing right into it too quick although he wants to see his baby being born before he goes to his training x

Wow! We are in a very similar situation! OH hasn't applied yet as he's got to lose 25 more pounds. We expect him to apply by Christmas. He already took one test. Then he'll join and get everything situated to where he'll leave for basic after he graduates college in May. The recruiters said he'd probably leave in June or July. If you decide to have a LO, that is both of your decisions. Others might think it's too soon but if you guys want that, then go for it! Don't listen to what other people say. OH's mom told him he better not get me pregnant and we've been trying for the last 4 months now. LOL! It's not her decision it's ours! Same with you!

Haha yeah I suppose! Steven has been for his first interview, his barb test and his first mile and a half run which he managed to do in 9 mins and 8 seconds so he was chuffed with that, got his second interview on tuesday then I think he has another run and then the selection process before he starts his training in october I think he is expecting OH was never really broody before but he is dying for a baby now and its cute lol! Think we are just gonna NTNP again and see how that goes x

Wow! I didn't know it involved all that! I know I told OH he needs to get his butt moving because they are going to expect a lot! Once he gets signed up then he has to go to something every Wednesday night at 5pm to get prepared for training. I'm like the more you get done now the better!

Yeah definately gonna be a big change come october when he goes away for like 12 weeks! I'm so used to him being with me all the time lol! So hoping that if it is going to happen then it happens before he's off training lol! Xx

Right! I completely agree! It's going to be hard too when my OH goes away too. I can't even be away from him for a day! He's like are you going to be OK with it. I'll be like a single mom again but hopefully I'll be married and taking care of my DS and our LO! I think it's going to be the hardest for OH and DS. Those too are so close it's unreal! But I think it'll help OH grow up some and become more of a man. Once he gets done with basic he said he has to go into his training for the Mental Health Specialist which will be another 4 months or something like that. Then he'd get his orders. He graduates with his bachelor's in psychology in May. So he will be working with soldiers with PTSD and other kind of sorts. What is your OH going in for?

Yeah I'm the exact same, don't want him to go but I know its gonna make him grow up a bit more and he needs a bit of disipline, he is a lazy so and so around the house so while he is at training he will have to tidy up after himself and maybe appreciate the fact that I do everything for him and its also something that he can't really give up on as he worked as a civil engineer and gave that up, went to college to try to become a p.e teacher gave that up and then became lazy and working in a nightclub a few days a week. He origionally wanted to go for the paratroopers but not sure if he has went for another side of it, his barb test opened up more opportunities for him as he got over an average score :/! Yeah steven was saying today that he is gonna feel really bad if I'm left doing everything for a new baby if it comes along while he is in the army but tbh it was like that when I had DS as OH didn't 'know what to do' so I'm not too bothered, would be nice for him to be there but I understand that he will have other things to do xx
