Off topic, thread closing m[o/u]mmies!

Could be the sleep regression Jessica.

OH finally got her back to sleep at 9am, in his arms. She looked very cute and gave me a thumbs up in her sleep- I got a couple hours sleep at last.

Ear rubbing is usually teething, could be that if she's normally a good sleeper. Calpol usually does the trick for us. I didn't even know there was a regression then, Holly had a permanent one from 4 months to 12 months :haha:

Holly watches murder programmes too Nats, she dances to the waking the dead theme tune. I fear we may regret this one day  Hope the docs can sort her excema out so you can get some sleep :hugs:

I want more babies, been trying since Hollster was 5 months old  I lost one in Dec, so am TTC again. I don't know why it's taking so long, it'll either be because DH is out of the country half the time, or because he only has one working ball :haha:

does your DH know how much we talk about his ball?

One ball shouldn't affect fertility. In fact it usually overproduces to make up for the lack of the other. Maybe mistiming your ovulation days? You could buy some ovulation sticks off Ebay, very cheap and you will get an idea of when its best to have sex! The window is like 2 days per month.

sorry Nat, I hadn't actually read your post on Maria not sleeping. Sorry! Wouldn't have posted such trivial bollocks in mine if I had LOL

I think if DH knew how much I talk about his ball he'd clobber me :haha: He had a vasectomy reversal, so it's not as straightforward as usual. They aren't always permanent, and men do have a lower count after them. He is only at home 2 weeks out of 4, so it is hopefully just mis-timing and not his tube starting to scar over.

Ooh hope you fall pregnant soon!
I so want another one. As soon as Sophie sleeps through consistently .
So might have to wait till she's 16 at this rate :dohh:.

I had to wait a year for Holly to sleep through, she seemed to do it once she started walking. Little sod used to wake up for 2 hours every night at 3am and want to play :dohh: Once they start STTN though, you soon forget about the sleep deprivation :D

Blimey, there's an 8 month sleep regression?!! Oh fuck!!!

Nat, sorry about Marias night, you must be knackered :coffee: Jess, I would think it could be teething we always have a few bad nights with B before a tooth pops through. Or it could just be a phase, she will probably stop again soon.

Sapphire, I love the ball talk!!! Best make sure OH doesn't set up a BnB account like Jess's!! :haha:

I want another, but probably won't TTC till B is around 18 months. Thats soon enough for me

https://www.babysleepsite.com/baby-sleep-patterns/8-9-10-month-old-baby-sleep-regression/

The 8 month + sleep regression is a development regression rather than an actual brain change like the 4 month one, so babies respond differently to the 8 month one and it happens over a much larger time scale dependant on the babies development.

Husband wants another baby soon. We had originally agreed June time to start trying (so Tabby would be 12 months when we started) but now that date is looming I wish to push it back so shes 18 months old when we start.

Yeah, 18 months is nice I think. LO will be old enough to be a proper big sister and we will have had a chance to get our lives back first. Although I have seen a post by a woman on BC with a 15 week old who has fou d out she is pregnant and I feel strangeley jealous :dohh:

There's 2.5 years between my older sister and me and then 2.5 years again between me and my little sister. It's a brilliant age gap I think :)!

Are all of you ladies going to have more babies?
I briefly thought about it. Despite my two with an 11 year age span. Avery in her now toddler days makes me never want another one. She's nuts, absolutely nuts. I think they broke the mold and beat the moldmaker after she was made. :haha:

This made me snort at work.

Is there ever not a sleep regression?

update on the sickness. She puked once last night a bit after coughing. This virus just won't quit, I'm still coughing. Fortunately I no longer puke if I cough to hard.

I would have posted last night, but I needed to go grocery shopping and then I was just too tired. Getting old sucks.

I am knackered. Maria slept another hour in the car after the doctor appointment but thats it - she's in good form though, I'm the walking dead. The doctor wasn't much use though, just made another antibiotic prescription for the infected eczema and some cream for it. Think we'll go private and see a child allergy specialist - thats what her nurse recommended when she saw us in the hallway, and the allergy doctor is a friend of FIL's so we might get an appointment free.

How is everyone today?

After last night, I don't want any more babies! When she starts sleeping better I'll want them again but OH isn't ready for more anyway.

Did they break the mold and beat the moldmaker when they made Maria also? :haha:

I hope you can see a specialist. Her eczema looks pretty bad for standard eczema. Avery gets little patches here and there, but it looks nothing like the pictures I've seen of your daughter.

Pretty sure they did :haha:

Yeah its pretty bad. My brother had it really bad too when he was a baby so I guess it runs in the family.

I'm going to be a worthless mother today. I was up until almost 3 this morning puking.
Sophia woke at 6, which she NEVER does. I fed her and she slept until...sometime. I don't know what time because she doesn't wake up screaming anymore she wakes up and plays with herself, talks, ect but she woke me up around 9:45, I dozed off until about 10.

She's in her jumperoo. Cartoons are on the tv. Micky Mouse club house. lol After this I'm going to move her jumper so she can't see it like it is now. That means I have to get off of the couch though. BOO. Whats that, Sophia? Only 1 more show? Ok Ok, just this time.

Some day you're really going to miss that jumperoo. How are you feeling now, is the puking better?

Is it bad I'm glad she's small so I think she will be in it a while? I'm going to miss it so much. I'm going to be a mess when she starts crawling.

I'm such a germaphobe. I'm going to need to get a big round play gate thing like they had on the Rugrats if you remember so I can put the foam mats down under where she is.

I'm feeling a bit better, laying on the couch at the moment watching/talking to Sophia.
