On to month 18...

That is very exciting! I worked in reproductive gynecology for a few years and I have seen patients who had a huge fibroids, cysts, only 1 ovary at 50% function, who were trying for a very long time and they were successful - you are doing all the right things and hopefully the specialist can help you get your BFP:hugs:

Its today at 2pm... I am so frigging nervous. Im going to feel like an idiot though... Since January I have been keeping a log with my OPKs, when we BD, when AF arrives/stops... Gonna feel so dumb showing that to her...

Dont! Its good that you know what is going on with your body x

so she is sending me for 2 rounds of blood work. CD21 - CD23 to see if I ovulated (which I got done yesterday cause I was CD23) then she wants CD3 - CD5 to check my ovary function and other stuff. So I will be getting that done in the next week. She also wants my BF to get a SA.. I dont think he was to happy about that but we will see if he actually goes.

I go back on July 8th to go over all of the results. If everything is good then she is going to send me for a dye test to see if my tubes are blocked.

Yay progress!!
Hopefully bf goes for his test. Us women go through so much more then men in fertility treatments, I get frustrated when I hear about guys that won't drop off their specimen! It's a lab, they are professional. Plus if you get into iui or ivf, he's gonna have to do it, some clinics even require it to be done on site (ours does)
Hopefully your bloodwork is all good, and SA are good to.

My fertility specialist demanded a SA! Said they would not go further if he didnt provide one as the issue may be on his side not mine. I was lucky though my hubby asked if he could do it there and then and was then guttered when they said not lol.

YAY for bloodwork! I had the HSG done, and I totally credit this with bringing me my 3 year rainbow baby. You hear a lot about hsg babies...it apparently makes you more fertile for 3 months!! x

My BF says he will do it. Were not allowed to BD fo 3 days before he does it so Saturday will be out last day and he will do it on Wednesday (his day off) so heres to hoping!

so the BF is doing his SA today... and I am going for my second blood work on Thursday as AF arrived yesterday right on schedule.

My follow up apt is not until July 8th... just wondering if I should call and make it sooner? Am i allowed to do that? She only told me the beginning of July because to give us time to get all the tests done... but if were done this week.. why wait?

Scrap the SA today... it has to be dropped off between 8 and 12 :( we didn't realize this until it was too late

SA will be done today, also had my second set of blood work this morning.

After he drops it off I think I will call the doctor and see if I can get in earlier

SA has been dropped off :)
Got a new appointment for June 24th

Gonna be a long month to wait to get back and see the doctor....

Awww it will be worth the wait though and they will hopefully make a plan of action!

Got a positive OPK of CD14... DTD that night... just not feeling hopeful at all this month :(

Just remember hun...doesnt matter whether you feel super negative or not...that baby can still be in there! I spent the few days before my bfp with alex crying my heart out. I knew af was coming, i knew we hadnt done enough...boom pregnant. So never lose hope! x

I think I'm just to the point where I expect AF to arrive every month... it's now month 19 and nothing... losing all hope now :(

I know its easier said than done but dont lose hope. The best thing that could happen now is - you have the Drs involved.

I ermember that monthly expectation of AF and how deflating it is. But never stop having faith it will come. It took 3 years for my first to come. I completely gave up. My second, 6wks and boom there he was. Fertility is a strange thing. But believe in your body, it needs you to believe in it...stress is such an important element of negativity on your cycles xx

Thanks Sarahuk... im trying to hold on... it just sucks that it is taking so long :( I never thought I would have issues

7dpo today... getting the itch to POAS but i know it will be negative and dont want the heartbreak
