PCOS and TTC #1

Happy 9 months to all of you with BFP and good luck/baby dust to all of you who are still waiting to find out. I'm officially out, so moving onto July. As a side note, I thought that with Clomid, you are supposed to get your Witch after day 14- today is DPO 10. Has anyone else gotten it this early on meds?

Has anyone taken Provera?? Apparently that is what i just finished my 10 day cycle of and i just read about provera periods and i am panicking!!!

I took it- it was really fine. I think I started 3 days after my last pill and it lasted 4 days. First two days were heavy, third day was normal, fourth day was light, and may have spotted the 5th day a tiny bit. Had cramps, but nothing some tylonel didn't help with.

I have been reading these horror stories that (sorry tmi) people were bleeding through their tampons and pads and underwear in the matter of 45 minutes and couldn't move for a couple of days... so i started to panic.

As a rule, don't google :) You will only ever get the horror stories and no one will write that it wasn't so bad.

To be honest, my first period after Clomid and Trigger (I just got it this morning) is now WAY worse- super heavy and I'm in so much pain.

Good luck- I hope it's all easy and painless :)

My provera period was just fine, same as normal. Google is evil!

You guys dont know how much u just made me calmer... i was freaking out!!!

Ray, at first I was going to suggest maybe it's implantation bleeding but then you said it's a heavy, painful period, I'm sorry :(. You think the clomid shortened your LP? Or do you think you ovulated sooner than originally thought?

I'm on CD 5, taking soy isoflavones CD's 3-7. I'm on the 3rd day, no side effects so far. I'm taking 200 mg a night. I bought the SI at Walmart for about $6.75. This is my 6th cycle (8 overall) TTC since charting, and ovulating. Lucky number 6, fx!

Here's some stats a fellow ttc'er put together on SI if anyone is interested: https://community.babycentre.co.uk/post/a13776455/bfp_stats_updated

Happy wedding anniversary Shortcakes! I know I'm early. Just in case I don't get to chat with you on the day, I hope you have an amazing day with your hubby, and wish you two many more years of happiness! <3 :wedding: <3

VBA- Thanks- I was really disappointed because I was literally celebrating about the IB last night and convinced that I was good to go, so it was such a huge let down this morning. Wouldn't have been so hard had it not been for last night. I have no idea what happened hahah I was triggered after going in for a us, so I'm assuming that I O-ed on the day after the trigger. It's possible that it could've been the day before (I took the trigger 12 hours after they suggested for convenience with bd-ing at night), but based on the size of my follicles- 18 and 19- I don't think that they would've gotten to 24 themselves in that short period. Even with the O a day earlier, this would still be a really short LP. My RE didn't seem to think it was odd when I called to ask, so I guess it happens? It wasn't what I was expecting, though.

I'm going to google it, but what are soy isoflavones? I've heard of them, but don't know what they are...?

Omg very... Thank you so so much!! We are going out to dinner on Sunday to this Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the top tier of our wedding cake for our actual anniversary on Monday as a surprise to my husband!

I finished provera 2 nights ago and started spotting tonight. Hoping af will be here tomorrow so I can start ttc again. My specialist seemed optimistic I could conceive in the next 3 cycles with femara.

I am on day 7 after stopping provera and still no period. Getting a little worried. My husband admitted yesterday was really rough for him as his father isn't around and he isn't a dad yet. Which made me so upset and now with this period not showing I feel like such a failure.

Sorry it's taken so long Shortcake, maybe try some Dong Quai? After my provera I took some and AF turned up right away

I've read for some people, it can take up to two weeks... maybe call your dr?

Hi ladies-
Hope everything's ok, Shortcakes- maybe you'll get AF before Monday!

I'm CD 8- done with my 3-7 dose of Clomid. It made me incredibly anxious and uptight and irritable days 5-7, but I'm ok today. Waiting to O- going back for an US Sat am. Just in a funk lately :(

How's everyone else?
