Okay, I know in Canada that you can walk into any pharmacy and purchase a plan B or "the morning after pill" for about $40, or go to a clinic and get it for about $10-$20 if you are able to go during clinic hours. I took one before and I've been to get one for 2 friends, and I know that LOTS of people here have used them.. it only takes a short consultation with the pharmacist where they ask you simple questions you'd know the answers to,
You can take it for the first 72 hours after you had sex if you think there's a risk of pregnancy from it, it's more effective the sooner you take it, and the only side effects are normally flu-like symptoms (which I did not experience when I took it).. you're allowed to take gravol for them too.
Is this available anywhere else? ie: UK/USA/etc? Because I think this would be a helpful tidbit of information for some of the girls on here.
*edit* ALSO it's not an "abortion pill" if you were wondering, it just prevents implantation.
