Really boring question about vitamins.....

Hi all! Iv just found out I'm pregnant and bought some pregnacare!!they had two options one was pregnacare original and one was pregnacare plus with omega 3 fish oil! The one with omega 3 fish oil was pretty much double the price! So I bought a separate bottle of omega 3, and the prganacare original!! Is this ok?

Pregnacare plus is so expensive isn't it?!

If it's simple omega-3 you're taking then yes, totally fine, but if it's a fish oil made with the body of the fish like a cod liver oil, it will contain high levels of retinol/vitamin A which are not safe in pregnancy. Just double check the packet to be sure xx

Ok thanks! The label reads 'omega 3 fish oil' perhaps i should go back to the supermarket!
