i think its because most of my scans have been with the specialist/in epu for bleedings or will be with fetal medicine so it would be cruel for them to ask when pregnancy might not succeed...

me neither i am still as scared today as i was when i found out. but trying to stay positive. only 1 week and 3days till my next scan still feels ages away. got James' Health visitor coming out today i really hate her and looking to move house seen one we like but its in the middle of no were so trying to convince OH's mother than it would be a good idea its in a good enough area and lovely new house so just got to wait and see have requested a viewing so

Ooooh moving house is so stressful I want to move house too as we going have a 2 bed house and I would like a 3 bedroom but we have decided to wait till this baby is abit older....

I understand what you mean tho about still feeling scared/nervous because im the same. This baby is pretty active but sometimes when im at work I dont feel baby and I panic. As soon as I get home I try the doppler and feel a huge sense of relief when I hear the heartbeat.

I cant believe how fast it's going now...the first 20 weeks seemed to have dragged but now it's flying and im thinking I need to get a move on with getting everything ready. OH and I are currently decorating the nursery well he is, Im just watching lol We are having cream/white polka dot wallpaper on the one wall and the other 3 walls are painted a nice cream colour. All the skirtings, window ledge and rad have been undercoated and glossed. So we are getting there.

understand the not wanting to move i hate moving we have moved 5 times in the last 2years which has been mega stressful, but this place is not really big enough even for the three of us never mind an extra body but going to wait and see change the house around a bit until we maybe find somewhere suitable. considering getting a sofa bed so baby can have our room and james still gets to keep his room....

i have been using the doppler since i was about 10weeks which has been good at putting my mind at rest but at the same time i keep thinking to myself what if i am not really hearing baby's heartbeat but i know i am as its always mega high compared to my own so i know its right but still always got that horrible doubt in the back of my mind you know? our baby is somewhat active at the moment i always feel movement really early on no idea why and been feeling the baby since i was about 13weeks. so over a week of baby jumping around i know at this stage movement is hard to feel so when he/she isn't moving or moving that i can feel i try not to think about it i don't really track his/her movement.


awww i cna't believe i am 14weeks almost 15weeks already i want to get to the proper baby stage where can feel movement better and have a decent bump lol but need to wait lol then i would love to stay at that stage for a bit pregnancy always seems so end so far (she says being only 14weeks) lol bet i will change my tune when i get further along, i wonder alot if this baby will be premmie like my DS but time will tell on that one too.... we are trying to prepare a little for baby waiting till i get my scan next thursday to find out the sex then going to get some stuff done. thats nice you are getting the nursery ready how lovely sounds lovely what you are doing i hear stuff like thats all the rage

i am desprerate for my next scan still feels soooo long away 9 days to do lol only 3.5days till easter starts thank goodness

sorry for the period pill post a few post back i posted on entirely the wrong forum lol
there was a lady ttc but told she was infertile and when she went to the docs after a positive preg test the nurse dismissed it and tried to give her pils to make her period come. she is in the seccond tri now lol

anyway congrats on your baby cant believe how far youve come good luck for your scan ive got another scan tomoro myself and im dreadding having to hold a pint and a half of pee that long

when you say contractions do you mean period like pains arround your uterus get almost painfull enough for a paracetamol? need to lie down or rest to get them to go away?
i've had that a few times not not like contractions more like almost continuous pain the dr said it was most likely the ligaments and abdominal muscles stretching to make room for my uterus you should however go to your doc if you get a pain that doesnt go away after lying on your left hand side for a while

they are tightening with pains along my stomach and uterus area they come and go had them with DS so know its likely Braxtion hick, i don't take any painkillers anyways they were just achey, but even real labour pains weren't too terrible with me, i had my son without any pain meds at all after 13days in labour lol so i don't feel pain normally. they don't always go away when i rest have been woken by them a few times but nothing mega serious just little worrying because well i am a worrier lol i have had period like pains in this pregnancy a few times and even a few bleeds, yeah with pains like your saying it usually is ligament i am going to call midwife tomorrow just to talk see what they say. thanks for advice will see what midwifes say with DS they were a bitch too

im sure its nothing you know your body best si i think you would realise if it was something serious. probably is braxtion hick's prehapse paired with ligament and muscle pain let us know how it goes with mw

i think if it were serious it wouldn't likely go away and only happen for short periods of time? its very hot here at the moment and heard heat with dehydration can cause increase braxtion hick.

yeah i knew it was soo but becuse hot weather is soo rare i never really think about it thinking about calling hospital today but because i am less than16weeks i need to call the early pregnancy unit instead of the actually maternity part which is a nightmare

Ive just been to see my midwife for a check up....baby has moved up so much

Said the heartbeat was still high at around 155-160bpm.....so possibly a girl x

wednesday was diagnosed with strong braxtion hick contractions and also a kidney infection, then on way to nursery on wednesday my ds walked into a pole he has not been himself since monday, thursday night he was rushed to hospital with sever headaches and lost his eye sight was horrible scared me sense less. he was diagnosed with migranes and we have been refered to the headache clinic for him, they said its genetic so because i have them and have done since i was very young that how he got them but hopefully they will get him sorted.

i keep having nightmares we aren't prepared when baby is born we have nothing for him/her i want to move into suitable house before baby is born but nothing coming up. also worried about the birth that the doctors wont listen to me like they did with James and also that new baby will be premmie like james only giving us 17weeks to get sorted

Aww hun im so sorry to hear about your son....poor thing. I really hope they get him sorted.

As for for the worrying you need to stop that....could you not book an appointment with your midwife to have a chat about your concerns?

i have appointment with fetal medicine on thursday i am not worried about baby being premature.... i am not thats not whats annoying me little can do if baby is premature just going to buy some premature stuff just want to get new house and settled some what before baby gets here you know?

DS is now on a lot of medicine and they have now found an abses under his gum too so thinking he might me dental surgery still to see the headache clinic but i think it might be more to do with that than anything else will see i guess he seems calm enough at the moment
