We purchased a round glass table from M&S a few years ago and tonight the glass table top and stem broke away from the base and nearly fell on Evie!

Where the base and the stem were connected it had rusted and worn away resulting in the table falling!

It's a fairly large heavy table and luckily noone was hurt!!

We bought this about 2/3 years ago is it still with complaining??? What would you do I'm furious!! It's only a few years old and has no reason to rust!

I would complain. Items have a reasonable life span, 2-3 years for a table and chairs does not sound like you have gotten your monies worth.

I would complain, I would expect a table to last longer than 2/3 years before it is completely unfit for propose. Especially as m&s furniture isn't cheap!

Yep complain. I'd expect something like that to last a lot longer!

is it an indoor or outdoor table?? if its outside and isnt properly covered from the rain when not in use then it would probably be rusty abd dont think you would get very far with a complaint. if its an inside table then def!!!

Inside table and never had liquid in the base of it!

Paid over £300 for it and M&S have offered £75....!
