Ho ho ho, ladies and gentlemen of the Grotto, Santa has arrived!

Santa loves to see everyone happy at Christmas and what could make people happier than getting a lovely card in the post so I would like to announce I am organising Santa's Secret Card Swap 2013.

The swap is STRICTLY a card swap and is open to everyone... members new and old as Santa's list has everyone on it - but remember to be nice and send your card as naughty members get chased by the elves and go on Santa's naughty list.

To join please comment below then pm me with your real name, address and whether you are willing to post a card abroad.

Rules of play

1) Last day to opt in the fun is 20th October - don't forget to pm me with your real name and address!

2) Names will be notified by 10th November

3) Cards must be posted no later than 1st December

4) Recorded delivery must be used within the UK and proof of postage obtained for abroad and confirmation sent to me

5) Cards only please! You must NOT send presents as a part of your Secret Santa. This caused a lot of upset last year for those who felt bad they only sent a card... after all that was meant to be the purpose.

It is true though that so many people felt bad that all they could afford was a card when some were sending gifts - and some sent quite extravagant gifts too which made others feel even worse about it. Sending just cards makes it fair to everyone xx
