@cheerios the Chinese doctor is talking poo, there’s no other way to put it! Firstly, it’s very individual, yes fertility declines with age but it’s gradual and the exact age will vary between women. For example, there’s evidence that women with PCOS remain fertile for longer and also that a lot of women will experience a surge in their fertility before the menopause. Our nurse manager at work just had an oops baby at the age of 43 and her other kids are well into school age now. I know another woman who got accidentally pregnant with twins in her mid 40s and her older kids were also school age.
I’m 39 too and totally get the worry about time running out, it’s on my mind a lot too but don’t let people who are possibly trying to make money off you by selling herbs etc get you down. You’re still in with a chance!

@PinkCupcakes I just want to give you a massive hug. I want so badly for you to get that baby you’ve been hoping for, for such a long time now

I’m CD11 and would usually be at least a week off ovulation if I was having an ovulatory cycle (we all know how hit and miss my ovaries can be) but have been getting EWCM for a couple of days and my OPKs are nearly positive so might be heading for an earlier than usual ovulation. Keep your fingers crossed for me please!

I had covid in July and it messed with my cycles too. I always ovulate on day 13 but didn’t ovulate until cd21 last cycle and now cd12 and negative opks still but there getting darker so will if tomorrow is peak because I can ovulate the same day or day after peak.
But tbh I think it will be late again. Hoping not as late as day 21 again.

will you be testing again?

I tested again this evening and bfn. It must have been a faulty test earlier.

I am so sorry your feeling so down love. I want this for you so so badly. I really hope AF stays away a line pops up tomorrow or next day. What sucks is you was so happy when you ovulated and now this. It sucks. Massive massive hugs love. I know it don’t help much.

Thanks for looking love, gonna do some more opks in a bit. Yes will do the shitty cheap one too just to see if it does catch up lol. Thought I was onto a winner getting them so cheap off eBay and there shocking lol. Thankfully have loads of wondfo left and 3 more easy&home, I have ordered some more easy&home they coming on Monday. If I get my peak tomorrow then will just use them
Next cycle it I’m out this cycle.

So just did some more opks. And they are darker and so close to being positive. I have right ovary pain and lower backache toward the right. But opks still not peak so maybe body gearing up or something. Not much cm.

Had a lot of cm when I woke up today but TMI DH pounced and I didn’t get to check out what kind of cm it was.
It dried after we BD.
Had a root around and do have vvvvv slight ewcm but hardly None. I normally get quite a bit on peak day and ovulation.
These opks are getting me excited but scared I’m gonna test tomorrow and they be faint again like what kept happening last cycle.
Only time will tell. Eeek hopefully be in 2ww soon. Hope these BFPs rub off on the rest of us.
Here is the new opks I just did; Even the shitty pink one is darker. Still shit tho lol.

Feeling really low tonight. Has a massive stupid fight with my OH which has ruined our night away completely. Have been feeling so stressed lately. So much to take care of. So many decisions to make for my little one who is struggling at school with his diagnosis. Trying to wrap my head around everything. Trying to do the right thing. I just need a moment to breathe. Sorry for the downer. Wish I knew a better way to deal with it all.

My 11 year old has autism too. He hasn’t been properly diagnosed yet but we have known for about a year and a half and his school have said they think he has it.
It’s a 3 year waiting list to get him seen.

I also purchased the MIRA monitor this month because I wasn't having luck with the CBFM and I AM thinking it's giving me peak too early (I just wanted to use up the sticks I've bought so they aren't wasted). The MIRA monitor gives you an actual reading and it said my LH is going up, but not by a lot (it's been <2miu/ml and today it was 13miu/ml) so it says it's not a surge and my O date is probably in 3 days. But, if these OPKs are positive I'm more likely to believe them over the monitors. What do y'all think?

I would say not peak yet love but very very close.
With the easy&home ones I tend to get a darker test line than the control line when peak. How many times are you testing? i. Have missed my peak twice since we started trying. It’s easily done if you have a short surge. My first 2 cycles trying I had matching lines only but went 18 hours without testing and missed the peak.

I now test several times a day.

Actually looking again cd17 could be peak. Sometimes they can go crazy dark and sometimes not so.
