Hi guys,

I've been to the pharmacy today and wanted to buy folic acid. I read the back of it and it said to go to a doctor first when trying to become pregnant. It also said you can't use it while you are pregnant. When can i Use it then and do many people use it? I mean I am on my 2ww now anyways so it might be already too late?

Sweetie, it says that on the back of EVERYTHING. Ya know, just in case you try to sue. In all seriousness, I couldn't imagine any doctor not recommending a woman who is either pregnant or trying to get pregnant to take folic acid.

It's necessary and proven to help prevent brain and spinal defects. Good enough for me.

Well not sure but it looks like u might have Ov cd 21 but because ur pre O temps are slightly higher it might take longer for FF to pick it up, just see what happens in the next few days. Also ur temps are alot lower, is it cold where u live or has there been a weather change recently? That could affect it too. Have my Fx for u

Thanks for the advice momwannabe81. It has been pointed out before that my temps are low, and I dont know why that would be. It's not particularly cold here.... I am aware it could be a symptom of an underactive thyroid, but when i looked into this, i didnt really seem to have any of the other symptoms really. At the moment i am just keeping that little nugget of information along with everyhing else and so build up a picture of my entire body (crazy as it is!).

i think I just need to keep on BDing!!!! I'll go with testing on the 15th for now, but may need to revise AGAIN if this uncertaity carries on!!!!!

She is a psychic who specialises in predicting when you will conceive, quite a few people on BnB have had readings from here and she is scarily accurate most of the time!

I got my reading on Tuesday and cried when I got it! She was spot on with who was coming through for me! But here's what she said about babies!

Im shown an October 2011 conception, towards the end of the month, so I sense you would test in November, and I see nothing preventing this or any problems, spirit want to reassure you show a healthy full term pregnancy, and a smooth labour and birth again no problems, and a handsome baby boy is born 2012, I do keep seeing the 20th of a month around this baby, he is quite dark haired, lovely long eyelashes, and very content, its a very happy time on your path ***How did she know about my DF's insanely long eyelashes? I always say that I hope our children get them!***

Your 2nd conception now shows and spirit say this will be between April and May 2013, Im so sorry they dont pinpoint an exact month, this can be the case sometimes when free will is around this, but it will be before the end of May 2013, and a baby girl shows as being born 2014, your very tired throughout pregnancy, so just watch sugar or iron levels, but apart from that a healthy pregnancy labour and birth is showing, I then feel you would or your partner would have a medical procedure to prevent any further pregnancies, although you are in two minds around this for a while, but I dont see any more ahead here, just your two more as above

What is IUI if you dont mind me asking?

IUI = Intra Uterine Insemination. Basically, they take DH's sperm and inject it through a catheter directly into the uterus when you're ovulating so there's a slightly better chance of the sperm meeting the egg. We are in the Unexplained Infertility category so it's usually their first line of treatment since it cuts down on so many of the things that have to go exactly right in order for the sperm to meet the egg, like hostile cervical mucus, not enough fertile cervical mucus, and on and on. I have no known ovulatory issues but they're going to give me clomid (a fertility drug that induces ovulation of you're not ovulating and usually produces more follicles, and sometimes more eggs, if you're already ovulating) anyway just to increase the chances.
