septembryos baby area (09 babies)

hi,

we went to the farm..... wasnt as muddy as we thought it would be apart from near the pond and the grass near play area! the sun shone. we went on an easter egg hunt in the woods and met "the easter bunny", all the kids had pics taken with it including blake (we didnt pay for him to get an egg but they agreed for a pic) the egss were exchanged for chocolate rabbits. the older 2 got 2 feed a lamb with a bottle - so sweet! and there was a lamb 25hrs old still really shaky on its legs.

blake was wearing an all-in-1 dig coat BUT we had comments that he looked like a baby easter bunny and a baby sheep! plus the lambs kept baaa-ing at him.

Glad you got to go to the farm Amy! The pictures are fab :)

thanks vicks, i took over 200 pics but i'm sure you dont want to see the old tractors, loads of sheep and goats etc. and those 3 show enough.

just wanted to share a pic of Chloe eating her first easter egg :cloud9:

Lovely photos of the farm Amy, blake looks soooo sweet!

Love the Easter egg pics of Chloe leelee, she looks like she enjoyed it!!!! bless her!

Izzy had a bit of a choc bunny- we stripped her down to her nappy then chucked her in the bath after!!!

hey everyone!...lOVING the new pics amy and leelee....looks like chloe loved her choccie haha

we gave mason a little bit of his milkbar egg and his face was a picture, he loved it was even going "mmmmm" lol

sorry to hear about ur cold vicks booo...lets hope for better weather from now on...think thats why everyone seems to be ill these days

blake has had bits of chocolate but no eggs as such. my older 2 have been boungin goff the walls as they are not used to sweets and chocolate - my fridge is always full of carrots, cucmber, apples, pears, bananas, grapes, melon chunks, oranges etc and they get a small bag of sweets (about 70p pic n mix) a month!

thing is they only had half a choc bunny and still have 3 eggs each!

Good morning all!!!! How are u all? and LO's?
How gorgeous is the weather today? so gutted though it could have been like this over the easter weekend!!! no fair! lol

its crap where i am scally - soooooooo windy too!!!

We have sun, but I still have a cold and feel like poo :( I hate being ill (sorry, feeling sorry for myself today!)

ohhh, sorry that your poorly Vicks xx

Thanks hun. It's so hard to look after Joe when I'm feeling like this, but luckily OH is off today anyway so I'm just chilling out on here and bumming around at home!!

How are you & Noah? x

Sorry to hear u r poorly Vicks- make sure to rest up loads, and drink lots- hope u feel better soon hun x

Hey Diz- how are u and Noah? Oh no sorry to hear about your weather- i hate not going out and i never do when its horrid!

I'm the same Scally, I'm a wimp going out with joe when it's raining! I hate those rain covers that go over the pushchair so we either jump in the car (I'm lazy!) or stay in.

OH is being fab today. He's off out for an hour or later to play golf but apart from that is letting me relax and rest up.

How was your Easter weekend Scally?

Is anyone's LO's near to crawling yet? Joe seems to have no interest at the moment. He can sit up unaided now for a few minutes before he was a wobble, but when he's on his tummy, he turns on his belly to get toys, but no signs of crawling yet.....

Vicks- thats lovely of your OH so make the most of it!!!! Yay on Joe sitting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats fantastic! well done Joe!!!!! As for crawling Izzy hates being on her tummy (even though she sleeps like that!) so when we put her on her tummy she either licks the floor or wiggles and then gives a frustrated scream!!!

Oooh and my Easter weekend was lovely, i love having my OH at home, we got dvds and a takeaway pizza and it was nice to chill out as he helped out loads with Izzy

lol for Izzy licking the floor!! I just read in the baby club section of someone with a 5 month old who is on all 4's!! Joe's ages away from that at the moment.

Sounds like a lovely Easter weekend. How's Izzy doing these days?

x

I know i read that one too, then started to try and get Izzy to do it (she didnt play along! lol) sometimes i get such paranoia about what other babies are doing that Izzy isnt!!!!
She is doing so well, she has got so much easier, she now goes to other people and she does a fake laugh, which everyone adores (i dont tell them its a fake one!) she has also discovered tongue rolling yesterday and hasnt stopped doing it!!! lol. Hows Joe? Hows the weaning?

Weaning's going well. We're still on 2 meals a day as that seems to be working for him at the moment with his usual 5 bottles. We now have breakfast about 20 minutes after his bottle and same with tea, as before he was having his bottles afterwards and not taking much as he'd gotten full!!

Apart from that, he's in his cot in the nursery. It's been harder than I thought moving him and he sometimes wakes now in the night, but last night he only woke once at 3am and I managed to get him back off to sleep within the hour, which was fab! He's growing so fast and more of his personally is coming through too :) He's adorable!

As for me, I'm back to work on 4th May....I'm kind-of looking forward to it as I love my job, but I just can't think about leaving Joe for 3 days a week, it's too hard to think about at the moment. But the money will definitely help lol!
