They weren't until this month. I came off the pill back in July, and since then they ranged from 25 - 28 days. But today was Day 33.

I really hoped this could have been it....

I'm sorry to hear the nasty old AF showed up for you I know how frustrating a odd cycle can be....I was ovulating normally most of last year, then with stress and weight gain, back to the loooonnng stretches without....

I dont think you're being stupid at all! You read lots of stories about women who are on the pill for years and conceive the first month they are off it (like my sister) and you think to yourself 'perhaps I could be another one of those women?'.
