Thanks t33cup! I made the pattern myself, but I can get it out and take a pic if you want?
Here's a little newborn set that I crocheted a few months back for my cousin's new baby girl. (I couldn't find the second mitten for the picture....)
It was my first attempt at all 3 items (having only crocheted 2 scarves beforehand) so I think they turned out okay. I'm just starting on another newborn set in gender-neutral colours for my second baby, due in December.
If anyone has any links to relatively easy baby paraphernalia crochet patterns (and preferably 1 continuous pattern instead of sewing parts together at the end), I'd love to have a look, thanks!!
aww they're lovely, bet my first attempt wont be as good, I havent crocheted yet but want to give it a go, so hopefully someone posts a good pattern
Thank you! Crocheting is very easy to pick up but the gauging/sewing individual parts together at the end kind of intimidates me. I would like to give knitting a try some day because I think it creates softer products overall. The main reason I chose to crochet was because it's so easy to start and stop and with a toddler running around, I often have to put it down in a hurry, regardless of where I am in the pattern! haha
my mums a great knitter and does crocheting, Ive tried knitting (though not for years) Im terrible lol, much better at sewing and other things!
some of my mums knitting, shes been doing animal teddies lately i got a text with a pic of stripy owl Ill try and get on because i love it lol
EVERYONE IS SO TALENTED! I LOVE THE KNITTING, ARTWORK, CRAFTS, ETC!! I'll add mine:

Next up is the nursing cover and curtains for their room...maybe some pillows from the fabric left over from the quilts but we will see.
What a great thread idea! I'm still working on my nursery and am loving all the ideas
Here are a couple of owl pillows I made.
