Here's a little newborn set that I crocheted a few months back for my cousin's new baby girl. (I couldn't find the second mitten for the picture....:dohh:)

It was my first attempt at all 3 items (having only crocheted 2 scarves beforehand) so I think they turned out okay. I'm just starting on another newborn set in gender-neutral colours for my second baby, due in December. :)

If anyone has any links to relatively easy baby paraphernalia crochet patterns (and preferably 1 continuous pattern instead of sewing parts together at the end), I'd love to have a look, thanks!!

aww they're lovely, bet my first attempt wont be as good, I havent crocheted yet but want to give it a go, so hopefully someone posts a good pattern :)

Thank you! :) Crocheting is very easy to pick up but the gauging/sewing individual parts together at the end kind of intimidates me. I would like to give knitting a try some day because I think it creates softer products overall. The main reason I chose to crochet was because it's so easy to start and stop and with a toddler running around, I often have to put it down in a hurry, regardless of where I am in the pattern! :dohh: haha

my mums a great knitter and does crocheting, Ive tried knitting (though not for years) Im terrible lol, much better at sewing and other things!

some of my mums knitting, shes been doing animal teddies lately i got a text with a pic of stripy owl Ill try and get on because i love it lol

Gah, everything's sooooo cute!!!!

I bought the wooden letters of her name and painted them to hang above the baby's bassinet. All I've done so far, but I think it turned out cute.

:s bumpimg my own thread incase anyone wants to use this who hasn't seen it? I love seeing some of the things that all you creative ladies have made :) -didn't much see the point in remaking this in third tri if people dont mind? x

EVERYONE IS SO TALENTED! I LOVE THE KNITTING, ARTWORK, CRAFTS, ETC!! I'll add mine:

I made the blue teddy bear for my nephew last year and now I am the process of making another one for my little boy :)

I painted these two jungle paintings to hang in our baby's room. Each painting is 8"x10".

I also painted the jungle animal murals on the baby's room walls! :)

Jokerette I love your nursery!!!!! xx

I paint and sell my prints on Etsy. I'll be making a set of all my prints, framing them and putting them up in the baby's nursery. I'd say my paintings are pretty baby-friendly! Here's the link to my shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/bababel

My best selling print is the Nacho Libre print. I've had 2 people buy them for nurseries already!

This is a painting I just finished last night want to find a place in the nursery fro it, started it when i first found out and then didnt have the inclination to finish it till last night. Nearly 9 months to make it :D
