Love the idea of sharing tutorials! I come accross loads but not all of them are great or things I want to make.. I made some bunting usin a tutorial as a basis/starting point (not that you need to though really simple) cant find it though.

I made it from scrap fabric and hand sewed the buttons on :) yes the polyester was a pain!

In the middle of knitting a cardigan, and hope to be finished in the next day or two, so look out for a pic! Since we still don't know what team we're on, I've gone for a pinky colour this time.....:haha:

If anyone wants knitting tips, there are some good tutorials on YouTube.

Well some of the nursery stuff I've ordered has tuned up so now I'm going to go fabric hunting to see if I can find some matching stuff to make some bunting. Ok a bit early but hey never too early in my eyes.

I'm going to start painting some canvases as well but that's a bit scary not really done any since school!

out of all the homemade things ive made and dont get pictures of i must say this is my best homemade:haha: :happydance:

im going to have the other stuff done soon hopefully i can get my friends mom to do it cuz i cant sew straight and dont feel like doing it anymore

Made the CUTEST little newborn beanie ever yesterday. I'll post a pick asap, it's crocheted with the fizziest yarn i've ever felt. Kinda made it hard to do, but it was so worth it in th end. haha

Me and OH are going to view a 2bed house which we will probably take as our current landlady who owns it has said we can have first refusal, and it would mean we dont need to save another deposit or security fees etc.. well if we do then i cant wait to get started on making home made things for the nursery :happydance: so excited!
For now a sort of homemade thing i've made is my avatar :haha: i love photoshop :)

Quilt number 2 is done :D

Next up is the nursing cover and curtains for their room...maybe some pillows from the fabric left over from the quilts but we will see.

good job Kristin! how did you find working with the fabric you used for the border?

Thanks :D

Because of it being stretchier than regular cotton fabric it was a pain sometimes but I used a lot of pins to hold it in place while sewing it and it wasnt too bad. The hardest part was keeping the lines straight, but if i went slow with the machine it made it easier.
