Just finished the chest of draws for little mans room i love the little elephant knobs, we're getting some elephants in there because his nickname is Chang which means elephant in thai, hehe

Aww, thanks I'm finding it quite hard to find gender neutral things (without them being all beige). So I think I'm going to end up designing/making a lot of things myself. Just as well, I'm a graphics designer and have a sewing machine!! x x

My mom is both crafty and super excited about her first grandchild. She's knitted a few sweaters and hats, but the big thing she's done so far is an embroidered baby blanket. I asked her to send me a pic since she's not gonna bother shipping it to me in the UK when I'll be back in Canada in a month. Anyway, here's part of it! There are also a few more bears as well as a giant moon in the middle and some other smaller cute stuff. She really went all out! It's also got a yellow flannel backing, and it's all quileted down to it can be a good lovey and go in the washing machine 100 billion times

She does a LOT of needlework, so she's pretty speedy at it. She just finished it last week, and I think she started when I was around 5 weeks? So about 10 weeks of work in the evenings. She's pretty excited about the baby

There is a ot of work in that! My mum used to do needlepoint but sticks to the knitting now, I dont think I have the patience for either. I can embroider and quilt I like to make pretty embelishments in bright colours, but I dont have the patience to do something like that, youre very lucky! lovely keepsake and familly hand me down to have

I can knit and embroider and all that, but I only have the patience for small projects! I definitely realise how lucky I am to have a talented and sweet mommy
