My baby's little Lucy Goose - 1st attempt. I plan to make more! x

I finished the pictures :D Ok so I want honest opinions! How does the design in the background match with the animal...is the leaf paper in the front too busy or not match any of them?? Its easy to change them and I want to hear what you guys think :D

Here is all 4 together:

I'm also sewing quilts for both of the boys :D

I think those look great Kirstin! the green paper works very well, on the photos the lion and giraffe are clearer. I like the pattern on the monkey and elephant ones better, but it isnt standing out as well on the first photos, there might be light shining on them though. Get somone to hold them up on the wall maybre or use a darker slightly plainer background as if they are at night but that leaf paper works so well, is the green coordinating with other things? I really like them btw! thanks for sharing xx

I've made several things so far, and several more are in the works! I am really crafty and love to knit, crochet and sew. :happydance:

Here's a couple things I have pictures of:
A stuffed elephant and a little body suit made from one of DH's old soft knit polo shirts.

cleverpants! I love that elephant and the bodysuit is lovely, good idea x

Thanks :D

It may have been the light from the patio door making them look a little washed out. I'll have to see how they look once they are hanging. The green isnt coordinating with anything but I thought the green leaf pattern was fitting to go with the jungle animals :D And their room is tan, blue, and chocolate brown...I wanted to get another color in the room.

Loving everyone’s crafts...they're all so creative and it really adds a personal touch to lo's room.

I'm painting the nursery in a couple of weeks and can't wait. I've knitted a blanket, made all the nappies and nappy covers, I'm also in the middle of knitting some hats and mittens as she's due in October so I guess it's going to be cold.

I've also got a friend to make a matching cot bumper and mobile, another friend is making the curtains and a nursing pillow and another friend is making a door sign with lo's name. I'm so lucky to have friends who are into crafts and it takes the pressure off me having to get it all done.

Can't wait to post photos to show you all...so exciting!

Aww some lovely things here ladies. Well done to those who made them. Wish I had those talents!
xx

What I make for my DD and will do if this baby is a girl (excuse the watermark on the pics)https://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu134/carolynnnn_2009/DSCN1287.jpghttps://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu134/carolynnnn_2009/DSCN1118.jpghttps://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu134/carolynnnn_2009/DSCN1097-1.jpghttps://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu134/carolynnnn_2009/DSCN1022-2.jpg

just got the material today to have a friends mom make the bumpers for the mini crib. its soooo hard to find things for the mini crib i decided it would be more personal anyways to have them made...her great grandmas are making her a quilt and some other things as well just dont know what yet . once i know what travel system were getting i will make more carseat tent covers and also one for the stroller

My hubby has built this table for the nursery. It just needs to be stained. He's going to stain everything at once.

He is building me 2 quilt racks in addition to the table because I fell in love with how they have it put together on walmart.com.

He is also building me this changing table that is going to be for the corner of the room. It's 3' tall and about 3 1/2' deep at the deepest part. And quite wide as well. (The idea is from Target but it was apparently made with cheap materials for their version.)
