so... what did you get for Mothers day?

I got a handmade card which was rather sweet, some cakes (we like cakes!!!), a chocolate orange (we like that too!!) and a cute little bear.....

Then my OH told me that Jade Goody had passed away - such a shame, as much as she was annoying etc no one deserves to die in that way and such an awful thing on mothers day too...

a lovely card, balloons, a tatty teddy with mummy on (as i collect them, have over 100) a beautiful tatty teddy snow globe, and some fab benefit make up james got up with maddi, did her breakfast and then did the tidying up and housework we've now come to mums to stay tonight and james' is treating us all to chinese for dinner

I feel rather upset tbh ....

I got a card which my sister got for courtney, and I didnt get anything else!! i dont mean to sound ungrateful but its my first mothers day and thats it!!

Aww bless you all that didn't get anything. Our men are buggers at times! I have to say up until last night I wasn't expecting anything as my OH was too busy. I wasn't impressed but he went out in the evening to get something so this morning I woke upto Thorntons Chocolates and wait for it.... a Tesco Finest belgium chocolate easter egg. Had to laugh at that! I also got a card off him and the kids and also homemade cards and a keyring Faith had made at nursery.

As 4thbump says though when you think of poor Jade and her boys and family, what an awful Mother's Day for them x

I got a mug, some candles, a cake (yum!) and some flowers I got breakfast served to me in bed and i didnt get out of it till 10am! Im normally up at 5.30-6! He seen to jacob all day until i told him i wanted me son back ! Now he is cooking dinner XxX

I have been spoilt rotten this year as i usually only get a card which is enough for me,

But i got , a keyring,mug,teddy,bookmark plus a grow your own lavender kit and grow your own lillies kit .. I feel very lucky but at the same time saddened that poor Jade Goody passed away, it made it all feel bitter sweet

I had a little pink baby doll charm for my sweetie charm bracelet (dh bought me the bracelet when i had Lexie), card and flowers. Best of all i had a lie in and a cup of tea in bed!!!!
My dh has many faults but he is so thoughtful with presents and i am very lucky.
He did however tell me not to expect it every year and that it was a special present beacuse it was my first mother's day!

Too many naughty men!

I got a book and a CD from hubby / baby & chocs from DD plus cards - even a card from the dogs!

Hubster did poached eggs and tea for breakie, caprese salad for lunch and we just had dinner....pudding TBA!!! So in short for Mothers Day I got an extra 3lb this week at Slimming World!

I got a chocolate bar that says 'Happy Mothers Day Love Jacob' which his godfather bought and my mum bought from Jacob a top I wanted and flowers and a card

My mum did really well this year I pod nano and nintendo ds to name two items x
