Hi all - I have been lurking around trying to find a thread to start of this new chapter of my life in. I found a few great ones but I thought, maybe just maybe I can make my own.

Here's a little about me:

My name is Terra and I live in AZ (hence the screen name) I am 33 and pregnant for the third time. I had a miscarriage and an ectopic. The ectopic has resulted in my infertility and my journey through IVF.

I am happy to say that after 6 years my hubby and I are expecting our first child in May (May 20).

So I thought I'd start a thread for anyone and everyone having a spring baby! Let's share our symptoms, stories, bumps and rants! I look forward to meeting more ladies out there to share this journey with no matter how you got there, we are all fighting for the same result; a happy and healthy pregnancy! <3

Let me know your due dates and I will add to this page!

Hi TeeinAZ! I am due in May also (just!) but here in Australia that makes my baby a winter bub!! Suits me fine, I do not want to be heavily pregnant over summer! I'm 32 and pregnant with #2. I have a 15 month old son who keeps me busy constantly with his antics and I am looking forward to giving him a little brother or sister to play with. My due date's the 27 th of May by my calculations, I'm not going to go to the dr until I make it to about 10 weeks though. So excited to be going through this again.. Mind if I join you?

Hi

I'm 25 and DH is 28, we're due on 12th April (unless the 12 week scan on Tuesday says any differently!). This is our first bubba, tried for 4 months and got our BFP in July!

Can't wait to share our journey with you all and pick up some tips from you experienced ladies!

xx

Hey ladies,

I live the idea of this thread! I'm also 33 and expecting our first on April 17th, thigh we have our official dating scan in a week and a half so I guess that could change. We were lucky enough to fall pregnant right before starting meds and iui and we ate just over the moon!!!

Except for the tiredness and night time nausea, I've been feeling well. How about you ladies?

Hi girls :)

I'm due May 2nd, 35yrs old, fella's 48. We're both English but live in Spain and this is my first and his second (his son's all grown up now, though). It's all very surreal and I'll probably relax a bit in 2nd trimester; until then, this place is a Godsend as the only people I've told in 'real life' are some family members in UK and a couple of colleagues - out of necessity - that I have gigs with this weekend, in case I run offstage being sick (which is highly likely).

Good luck, everyone!

Hello im due may 31st will be my third baby :) well I haven't had a scan yet so there is a chance it could be 3rd and 4 th if its twins hahaha

Feeling good now but was so so ill from about 6 weeks until recently. It was like I had a hangover each day! Hopefully now the placenta is taking over and giving me a break from the hormones!

Hi Girls!!

I would love to join you! I am due April 29th. This will be our second child. My daughter is almost 4. We had no trouble conceiving her, but had to resort to IVF after trying for 18 months this time around. I am currently pregnant with twins, but the doctors say baby B isn't going to make it, so hopefully we will be having one healthy little bub.

I live in Connecticut, and I'm a middle school teacher. Morning sickness and preteenagers don't really mix, I must say! Can't wait for the first tri to be over so I feel normal again!:winkwink:

I agree, Lilly. A hangover is exactly how I choose to describe the feeling. And we don't even get to enjoy the wine before feeling like poo!:haha:

I know! When DH has a glass of wine or cider I'm almost dribbling next to him, cool evenings are exactly the time I want some alcohol! Though, given that i've not had a drink in 11 weeks, if I had even a sip now i'd be wasted!

Welcome Ladies!

I have updated the first page. Looks like we have a lot of May babies!

Congrats to all of you!!! I am looking forward to sharing this journey with all of you!!

Today is my last appointment with my RE (I did IVF) and I am so excited for this ultrasound. I am only over 6 weeks a long, but I am praying I see the heartbeat on this appointment and it would be even better if we heard it.

I can't wait!!

How is everyone doing today??

Jumping in with you all! I'm Jamie, and my estimated due date is April 5, 2014 (although because of my consistently irregular periods, I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up changing after my next scan.) I'm 13w2d today and FINALLY starting to calm down a tiny little bit and let myself get excited. :)

I'm still dealing with nausea/no appetite at dinner time, but I've had some better days recently so I'm hoping it will be done soon! Hope you're all feeling well and best wishes! :flower:

Hello! Just a FYI if this thread keeps going it will probably be moved to the groups section xo

I would love to join though! I am pregnant with #3 due on April 7, though I haven't been able to make it to term yet so I am expecting LO to show up closer to mid/late March. I was LTTTC#1 for 4 years and once we had him, we went with a fertility specialist asap to start TTC#2. When he was 15 months old I became pregnant with my daughter and we thought we were done! Then suddenly #3 gave us a MASSIVE shock since we had such problems TTC in the past AND we were preventing! So weird and neither of us can understand it

But after a very rocky 1st tri (ongoing bleeding, spotting, etc) I am still here and so so excited about #3. It's our last pregnancy so I want to do everything a new mum would do that I never did! :haha: Like take a pregnancy class, buy a doppler, take a prenatal class, etc. I feel like this pregnancy is such a gift!

Thanks for the FYI on the group thing. :winkwink:

Congrats on the pregnancy!!! <3

I am so glad to see more people joining the thread!!! So exciting!

I just got back from my appointment. It was sad leaving my RE. But we saw our little one's heart beat. 133 bpm! I am now off PIO and no more meds!! It's a crazy feeling but I am so excited. Oh! My EDD was moved to May 20th.

First OB appointment is this Wednesday.
