I also agree this board is super supportive and awesome!! I haven't posted much about my pregnancy because I didn't want to make anyone sad (I know it was hard for me to hear about other people's pregnancies when I had trouble TTC). But you all have been so supportive which is awesome

ABMommy- wow that's awesome your doc will get you in so early! I'm thinking it'll prob be blood work and answering questions?

Angel- I would say it's close to being positive, if it's not darker tomorrow then I'd say to mark today as positive, but if tomorrow's darker then I'd say tomorrow is positive!

Thanks ladies! I just took another one (4 hour hold, almost no liquid at all). It looks like it's going to be fainter than this one (still have a couple minutes to go). I'll test again tomorrow and/or until my temps rise just in case but I think this is almost as close as it'll get. My IC's typically get about this close and then the digi's confirm with a smiley.

So I think we're going to try to BD today, tomorrow, and until temp rise. So much "forced sex". But I want every chance possible to catch the egg!

Angel, my first couple opks that I considered positive were just a shade lighter than control. Last month I finally got one as dark. I do like by CB digi to see that Smiley when I'm thinking it's positive.

This morning I did OPK with fmu. It was still pretty dark (about as dark as yesterday's). I'll test again this afternoon to see if it darkens or lightens.

Didn't get to BD last night. We had an appointment at 6pm to get a quote for our roof replacement and then had to fill out paperwork etc because we decided to go with the company. My grandfather can do roofs and offered to help us if we buy the supplies but we can't get a decent sized crew together that can take the same days off work so a 3 day project is going to take us 2 weeks. In Washington the weather is to unpredictable for me to be comfort bake with that. So we'll be spending a lot of money to pay them to replace our roof. Like $15,000 so expensive!

Anyway that appointment lasted until 8pm. Dh said he was absolutely too Tired (he did work late) for BD and since we had just had sex the day before he felt we were covered. But I made him promise that no matter how tired he was, we would today and the next day or two until temp rise.

Thank you guys!! Flukey my next appt is April 4th, it'll be my anatomy scan where they literally look at every body part to make sure they are there, functioning, etc. I'm super anxious for this one! Im just praying everything will look good and babies healthy! I'm also finally starting to get a bump although it's still small, lol. I thought I'd have a big bump by now (18 1/2 weeks) but nope, people are just now starting to comment on it haha. This is a comparison pic of 12weeks vs 18.

Flukey- you are so right you will get pregnant! Your cycle seems to really be stabilizing now too so it should be soon I think.

Angel- I think it's ok that you didn't BD last night but I would tonight like you said. Because technically you could O anywhere from today to tomorrow I think?

I have been so MIA lately but I took a free moment tonight to get caught up.

congrats ABmommy on the BFP! That is so awesome!

Our trip is in about 36 days and I am so excited. I will say it has been hard to not be ttc but I know its for the best. Ive still been tracking my cycles and doing my opks even though this month it was kind of off. I was supposed to O on CD14 but I got a positive opk today CD15. not much ewcm this cycle either. I will keep testing to see if it gets darker.

I am so happy to see your cycle has been getting back to normal Flueky! Hopefully this will be happening for you soon.

My temp today was a huge spike but I discarded it bc I woke up at 4am from a nightmare and only just fell back asleep around 4:30 and then the alarm went off at 5 (and I temped then) so I don't think it's accurate. I'll wait to see what tomorrow's temp says but I do think I O'd yesterday or the day before. My OPK yesterday afternoon was still a definitely line but lighter than the previous ones so it's fading out and I'm going to count the one from the day before yesterday as my +OPK. Managed to BD the day before the +OPK and the day after, and so if I O'd on the +OPK day or day after, then I think I'm covered.

although I will say I'm a bit sore as I had no sex drive with the mirena and since it's been out, weve BD more this month then the last four months combined.

I totally know what you mean! After I stopped bcp I was in a similar spot for a couple months. So rough.

Flueky - I was saying the same thing to DH when we were looking at roof costs, but we both much prefer having our house and our own space, it just sucks how much $things cost! At least we knew going into this house that we'd have to replace the roof within the first year, that was a given so it isn't a huge surprise, just annoying.

ElleT - Have a good trip!! O day can often fluctuate by a day or two, a lot of things can affect it (daylight savings time was just last week and that alone can throw some women off by a day or two).

Gagrl - that's a great drop! Looks like O could be very soon (possibly today)! Good luck!

Afm, I'm thinking O was today (although it could all be in my head). I had some crampy pain on my left side for about twenty minutes mid day and a lot of EWCM.. Like a bunch. Hubby asked if I was ok to bd tonight when he gets home from his guys night and I told him yes, just be gentle, however I want to get as much of a chance this month for a bfp. I'll post up my chart tomorrow for sure.

Flueky - hoping you get your OPK soon. I know that yours tend to go from light to dark really quick so maybe it'll pop up soon. Are you having secondary signs?

I was also on BC for about 7 years! Except it took me 3 months to get my first period and then after that it ranged from anywhere 28-99 days! Finally after my 99 day hiatus I started getting periods relatively regularly between 30-35 days.
I was also tested a bunch of time for PCOS, any hormonal imbalances (thyroid) in general (even though my doc said I didn't really fit the bill for either of those things), I had ultra sounds done to rule out any cysts or masses (yikes!) When all.my blood tests came back clear. I had "textbook" ovaries and uterus, no aliens or bumps and lumps inside. Period came a shrt while later and since then, and since taking fertilaid it's been bang on. First month ttc with hubby 😀
