Summer Lovin'...bring us some babies!

What a cute story, Suzy, albeit a little embarrassing! I'm the same way though - whenever I'm nervous my stomach is in knots and I feel like I need to run to the bathroom right away!

We BD'ed four days in a row from CD9-CD12 so I think we've got it covered! ;) My lining was only 6.2 mm at CD9 but if I didn't O until CD12 then it might have thickened just enough for implantation - keeping my fingers crossed!

Haha Suzy! I do the same thing. Omg I'm so excited! Wait, I have to poop!

Yes minuet, I had like a million ultra sounds and lots of giant cysts. Then added two injections that cost 3600 for the week. It was an aggressive attempt and we are ok with twins, even triplets so we went for it. My follicles weren't doing want RE wanted so he gave me options and I said I'm this far, be aggressive. Hoping for the best but I'm prepared for ivf. We were originally going that way anyway and the DH worked hard on his sperm count and it came up significantly. So we gave iui a shot.

Sorry about AF Beaglemom! But I'm glad the timing will work out better for you this cycle. You always have such a positive outlook on everything! Good things will come out of it I'm sure!

On the subject of keeping the feet warm - I bought this foot spa thing at a garage sale a few weeks ago (it was practically brand new but I still cleaned/disinfected it top to bottom) and started using it to help with circulation. I think my entire body feels rejuvenated afterwards. I stopped after ovulation. Do you think I should continue in the LP too?

Bwahahahaha Suzy!!! That is awesome. So when your LO gets older, you can tell him/her, "I was so excited when I found out I was having you, I almost shit myself!" Okay you probably wouldn't do that, but it's a funny thought. Also, I kept feeling bloated through ovulation...it's just now easing up a bit finally! But that could also have been from the trigger, which you didn't do, if I'm remembering right.

Jen, I normally have a touch of road rage (like I don't drive aggressively...I just talk very mean to other people who can't hear me) but not usually when I'm not even driving! As to your IUI/IVF decision, that totally makes sense. I didn't realize your IUI cycle was so expensive. I would do the exact same thing...especially if sperm count is your major problem because IVF makes that totally irrelevant.

Floridasian sounds like you have a great chance!!!

Beaglemom, ok thanks for the info. I do need to get some pineapple. I have been doing the other warming things because although I don't know if I have a "cold uterus" I don't think I have the best circulation. I'm just getting that from the fact that my hands and feet stay cooler than the rest of my body...pretty much stay cold the whole winter. I have been doing vitamins pretty regularly...my prenatal, Evening primrose oil, baby aspirin, and hair skin and nails (although that's just cause I have super thin hair), and just recently added fish oil and coq10. I think you're right...we can just do everything within our power and none of these natural remedies hurt anything! I totally agree...I'll pass on the follistim. I'm really happy with how I responded to clomid with the 3 follies and would not want to risk any more. I would die if I had triplets or more.

I don't think using the foot bath would hurt during TWW. I heard to keep yourself warm but no overheat your core...so feet is probably ok. I had a foot bath but it was too loud.

I am trying to be positive. Sometimes it is hard, so I fake it ;)

I am not a doctor, but I would not suggest pineapple 1-5dpo if you are taking a baby aspirin. Pineapple core has bromelain in it which is a natural blood thinner. Since you are taking aspirin this can make your blood very thin and cause increase bruising.

I did not realize it one month and I did take both. My gums started bleeding every time i brushed or ate anything too hard. I also started getting frequent nose bleeds that were very heavy and difficult to stop. I did not understand at the time what pineapple core actually did. I thought it was more of an aid in uterus lining, but it's not. It helps with blood flow to the uterus and your aspirin is already doing this. Just my experience and opinion.

Fake it 'til you make it! :winkwink:

FBG - I don't do the baby aspirin, so never thought about that...thanks for that info.

Well, pretty sure I am out this cycle. I tested today after holding for about 4 hours and it was - :.( So just hope AF shows soon so I can start again.

Suzy that's hilarious! I had a plan on what I was going to do if mine was +. Dh love beer so when he called on his way home from work I was going to get the case of beer out and have a note that said for the next 9 months you won't have to share. Or you can have as much as you want. And the test inside.

So sorry you're out this month. I didn't have a specific plan but I did want to surprise dh. This morning was a bit embarrassing but funny too O:)

Oh thanks so much for the info FBG!!! I didn't know what exactly the pineapple core did either, Beagle. Glad someone around here knows what's going on ;)

Sorry for your bfn Michelle :(

wow well that explains it then. I'm curious, how did your DH improve his count? Mine is still recovering from chemo last year, so his swimmers could use all the help they could get.
I'm really rooting for you to get some great news this month. :)

Is your husband taking any supplements to up his count? There are lots of natural herbs and supplements you can try (Preconception vitamins for ex). I'm not an expert but I know there are quite some choices out there.

DH was put on clomid to increase his testosterone levels. He had a vasectomy reversal last year. He found everything he could vitamins wise to help improve t levels. I know he got fertile aid from amazon. Another thing was cod liver oil pills. So gross. We have a gym in our house and I got him a squat rack. He has put on so much muscle in the last 6 months. Also changed his diet a bit. He worked really hard!

Suzy18 -- yes, he's taking things like a multivitamin, various vitamins, selenium, zinc, copper, CoQ10 and so on. We're also trying to eat healthy - lots of fruits and veggies and such.

JCM -- that is really good! Sounds like mine could benefit from the strength training too :)

Dh has low sperm count. Last IUI it was only 4 million. His analysis showed low count as well. It's hard for him to eat healthy because of his work. He can really only take frozen meals to work to eat. And his schedule sucks for him to workout. But he said he would try and start. I'm so ready to have a baby! Don't know gods plan for us but wish it was soon! For all of us!!

Edit
Also, his count didn't improve with the help of multivitamin, fertilaid, and count boost:(

I wish my drs had been more aggressive about my husband's issues. He was never put on anything & his counts just seem to yo yo. We did do our own vitamins similar to what everyone else here was taking. But my husband continues to eat horribly. I am bad too & could use some weight loss, but he is worse. I do not snack a lot. Last night we ate ice cream...me sherbert which is very few calories & it was a small single serve cup. I bought my husband frozen yogurt. Well he got a HUGE bowl & covered it in caramel sauce. WTF! Makes me so angry. But he says he will start to work out before the baby comes because he wants to be in better shape for his children.

Having a crazy week & it is only Tues. Feel like I could strangle everyone I come in contact with at work.

I'm sorry to hear it didn't improve with supplements. Have they done tests to see what is wrong? Has he seen a urologist? That is something they should be addressing.
Also, have them check for a prostate infection or uti. Our doctor said those affect sperm health and are not noticeable in men like they are in women - my husband is on antibiotics atm for this. Lastly please get him checked for testicular cancer, my husband had that and it doesn't really have symptoms either. After we found out, we did an SA before banking before his surgery, and the health and such was terrible.

Can your hubby take a small cooler with lunch? I assume if he takes frozen that means there's a microwave he could heat refrigerated leftovers in.
My hubby used to do frozen too, but so long as I am good about making meals that create leftovers, he just takes those instead. You can also make up fruit and veggies trays which will be great for health.

I'm sorry, stressful days are the worst. :(
Maybe you could try a compromise strategy. Where he still eats junk food BUT has to eat healthy too - good fats, fruits and veggies, protein etc. After a while he should figure out that eating the bad food makes him feel lousy, and good food doesn't.
Another strategy is to pick only a couple bad foods - in my case its milk chocolate. He can eat his pizza or chips, but not that AND icecream, cookies, candy and etc. This makes a big difference in the amount of junk consumed.
In my case it keeps me from eating a lot of stuff all day long and ensures most of the food eaten is whole and healthy.
I hope your spouse will be open to something like this.
