Summer Lovin'...bring us some babies!

Yeh my coffee ritual is also my sanctuary time...I get to work before my bankers...so I just drink my coffee & relax. Then they come in & the day starts. I have a coffee cup warmer because I never get through my coffee before 10...I am always running around so much.

Well they called me back. She said my dr. Doesn't want to prescribe it because sometimes it can make the situation worse. And maybe the one with the 4million was because of his job. And getting the boys too hot. I asked about what other vitamins he can take she said CoQ10 (which I figured) 300-400 mg 2x a day, vitamin C 500mg a day, B complex, and follicle acid- 400 mg a day. So for anyone wanting some thing to take to help there ya go:) and I want to get maca root too. Then I asked about me for egg quality and she said DHEA 25mg 3x a day and CoQ10 same as hubby. I told her I was also drinking pregnitude and she said that's great. And that he puts a lot of women on it especially of they do IVF.

Now, here's my problem. I bought a prenatal on sale that came with dha. I asked a pharmacist if DHA and DHEA were the same and he said yes. But I research a little and it said no they aren't. Anyone know if they are the same? Because if they aren't then I need to get DHEA. I didn't pick any up based off of what the pharmacist said.

Also, I didn't even end up floating around in the pool. Right after my post my two fur babies got out of the yard so had to track them down. And my boy dog had rolled around in poop!! So he got a bath. By then I decided not to go:(

Nope - DHA and DHEA are definitely two totally different supplements. I have heard of DHEA for fertility and it was taken/prescribed a lot for women going into IVF. I actually bought two bottles but not ending up taking it because of possible side effects (oily scalp & skin was my main concern).

Ok so I know this isn't positive, but it is the darkest OPK I've ever had, and I'm a little excited! Most of the time the line is SO faint, it's nice to see some color. This was from 4pm, 10am was not as dark, so I'm curious if it'll look better in a couple hours or tomorrow. :)

I thought that was a preg test at first!! One step at a time!! Looks like you'll be busy the next few days!!! :D

Oh, also I felt some light shooting pain around my nipples while I was driving around today. Let the symptom spotting begin! Lol! Trying so hard not to get my hopes up! But I still do want to think positive. It's hard to strike a balance!

Aww. Symptom spotting can be fun, it just makes the whole thing hard, not knowing something is or isn't a true symptom! I have my hopes up for you.

I just realized that CD3 might fall on a weekend (next weekend) - either Saturday or Sunday and I'm supposed to go in for CD3 test next cycle. What do you do when that happens? I'm supposed to get a CD3 scan too and most likely get a prescription to start Letrozole on CD3. I understand CD3 tests can sometimes be done on CD2 or CD4, but what about the prescription? Doc said I would be taking 2 pills from CD3 to CD7. How's that going to work out?

minuet - looks like O might be coming soon with your OPK getting darker and EWCM!!

How many DPO are you, Sarah? Your symptoms sound promising! I had a few "twinges" in my boob this morning when I woke up - yep, boob, as in singular, only in the right boob. Isn't that weird? LOL!

My cd 3 was Saturday so I went to the er and had mine done. The doctor wrote the order Friday otherwise I would have went in cd 2 which was Friday and had it done. If you go in cd 2 I would start meds cd 3 no matter what day the workup is done.

Interesting - I didn't know they do CD3 tests at the ER. I will call my doctor's office on Monday to see how they handle situations like this.

Thanks FBG!

Yeah just ask your doctor's office. My RE has someone there every day but Christmas, they like to say. But some offices don't. They should have contingency plans though.

I had my iui last Saturday, so that makes me 6dpo. Symptom spotting makes me crazy...probably just because every cycle I've had symptoms has ended in a bfn. But I haven't ever had so many things in my favor w the iui and 3 eggs....but even with all that it's apparently only an 8% chance. See? I could just go around and around like that and drive myself crazy!

Also, 8 days past the trigger and I'm still testing positive from it. Well I guess I know I got a good batch of wondfos.

Floridasian - I only had the u/s on CD 3 not bloodwork. But at my office they do baseline u/s CD 1, 2, or 3. If it falls on a weekend, you do it the following Monday. They are open but not for baselines. My office has everything timed out...so bloodwork or baselines have their own time window. I think so it is easier to schedule everything else. You should be fine to do everything CD 2 or 4. I would call earlier though to get your femara prescription in. I have never had any issues getting this or my clomid at my local pharmacy pretty quickly...like any normal prescription. Also, you can take femara on CD 2, 3, or 4. So just get with the dr...but no reason to be concerned...it will get worked out.

Good luck Sarah! I don't know why they gave you such low number of success rate but you know, statistics are just that - statistics. 3 eggs is 300% more chances to exceed! :)

Three eggs? That sounds like better than 8% chance to me! I know what you mean about going round and round. I can drive myself crazy with the statistics and odds about Clomid working or not working.

Minuet, I think you can't put too much stock in a single days temp...most women will have a couple of unusual temps each cycle. Just looking at the overall trend of temps has always given me the best idea of what's happening.

Yes I know that is true. I am used to very wacky temps all over the place. Just so nervous nothing will happen and I'll just have my usual anovulatory chart. This fertility stuff is nail-biting suspense.
