Summer Lovin'...bring us some babies!

Floridasian those are great numbers and news. I bet you are O but just temp and see what it says. Fxed for you!

Minuet I agree with beagle. Just call as much as possible and ask about cancelations. Be their best friend!

Beagle only a few more days before you test to get your BFP! So exciting!

Still no O today! Took 2 this morning then another one at 3:30, all neg. but this morning I was in some pain and I feel so bloated and full. Hope O comes soon so I don't have another anovulation cycle.

Thanks for the input ladies.

This place may be the only option in town, but they didn't do much to impress me. When I called and said I wanted to schedule a new patient appointment, she said ok and put me on hold for five minutes.
When she picked up she was not friendly, polite, welcoming - just brisk and to the point ... " name? phone number? email?"... Not a very good first impression.
Then they sent a bunch of live forms to my email address, that we have to fill out with sensitive info - medical history, insurance, etc and send back over the email. She also said they will not schedule an appointment until they have received all the forms, and have ALL our medical records from our doctors.
I don't really like the idea of handing them all my medical info without even a guaranteed appointment. Maybe I'm just too private with my info.

Anyway, hubby suggested going somewhere out of town too, but it would be a 2 1/2 hr drive so that would be a challenge. I'm going to give it a couple days and try to figure out alternative ideas.
You guys must think I'm an emotional wreck, and honestly with all the stuff we've dealt with, I feel like one sometimes. This TTC is horrendous on the emotions.
I know it wears on all of you too.... :hugs:

Well ladies I don't think I am going to O this cycle. Cd22 and no O yet. All wondfos were neg and digital is giving me a high. I don't know how that's possible while taking femara. It's worked every cycle.

I've been having some uterine cramping since my IUI yesterday and it still hasn't gone away today. Not sure what's going on.

Hang in there Michelle, your O will come!!

Floridasian, that is completely normal...you could also see light spotting & a lot of cm. Sometimes the IUI will unplug the cm & you will see a lot more.

Still back pain for me in my lower back...not as bad as yesterday.

Floridasian - I hope the cramping has eased up for you. I see your temp is going up which is great. I hope you guys were able to keep up the BD schedule.

My back still hurts. I remembered my heating pad...so now I don't want to leave my chair again. I also have a headache starting this morning. I am getting nervous/excited about tomorrow.

Yes the cramps subsided last night and I feel fine now. We were able to BD as soon as DH came home last night. Not really sure when I O'ed but I think it was either yesterday or Monday. Either way we had it covered! :)

You must be sitting on pins and needles, beaglemom! Is your hubby still planning on doing the testing for you?

That is the plan. I will have a cup ready for him. But I think I will dip one of the cheapie tests as a back up. But he will be using the clearblue advance week estimator...so he will be able to watch the result window. I know it may not be as accurate as a strip, so that is why I want the back up test. I am excited, but I am also just trying to not focus on it too much.

Thanks. No AF yet, but I am on the progesterone which delays things. I took it last night but will not take it anymore unless I get a positive test tomorrow. So IVF is next. I found a grant online I am working towards getting my application in for. I have to get some paperwork together including a letter from my dr. They make a decision early Oct. So we will be on pause until then. I may still wait until January...depend on how I am feeling. I also need to be aware of my schedule around the holidays...I do not want to screw up any of my co-workers' time off. So I plan to get on an excercise plan & hopefully lose some weight.

Oh & coincidentially, my back no longer hurts & woke up to cramping this am. We will just have to see what comes in the next few days.

Yeah..I have a love/hate relationship with Progesterone. It's slightly more hate than love right now I think. My RE wanted me to start on that again this cycle and was adamant about me starting it on Wednesday (I guess he was convinced that I was o'ing on CD11). I didn't get a clear enough temp shift so I didn't start until this morning and I'm definitely stopping at 12 DPO if no BFP by then. I'm not letting it make me O prematurely again.

I wish you the best of luck on whatever you decide to do. I know it's very expensive. Have you looked around other IVF clinics in the area or even travel out of area? The prices do vary a lot too for IVF. It sounds like your clinic is on the expensive side for IUI so they might be more expensive for IVF too. I think mine was around $8K some five years ago (based on an article I found online written by them) while the national average was like 12K.

My office runs around $12K depending on what you do. That was pretty much what I expected going in, so I am ok with that price. I would rather just stick with my dr instead of moving around. Plus she is the closest specialist to me at an hour & a half. I don't want to miss any more work than I have to & so far their schedules work out good for me with blood work & u/s available first thing at 7:30. So I have enjoyed my experience so far.

If we wanted to, we could move now. We plan to take a loan out on our 401K. It is the easiest & lowest interest rate. I would put all extra money towards it & income tax money. The good thing is once I am pregnant, my insurance will start kicking in. But I figured I would try for the grant since the timing is working out. The month or 2 off will be good for us anyways. I don't think I will get the grant, though...but I will at least try. I am thankful that my husband & I are in a much better position than most people when it comes to paying for all this.

By the way, not sure if you know about this but IVF success rates is published public information - https://www.sart.org/find_frm.html

Mine appears to be lower than the national average :(

Mine appears to be above or right there with them...just glancing. Mine is Carolina Conceptions in NC.

Wow those numbers are great! 2011 has < 35 success rate at 54.3%!! If you filter by the individual issue and pick just male factor, it was 60.5%!

You're in good hands!!

Awesome! I had heard good things. I think there is one or two others in the Raleigh/Durham area (huge medical area with med schools including Duke). But she is closer & was the referal my gyno gave me. Thanks for looking at that. I just didn't have the patience at the moment. Trying to get stuff done at work & get to lunch to surprise my husband!

Hello ladies. I wanted to ask if anyone out there uses the wondfo opks. For some reason I bought a ton on amazon before doing medicated IUI with the RE & I really didn't need them at all since my cycle was being manipulated. So since I do not plan to take a whole lot of time off before IVF, I thought I would see if anyone out there wants them. They are easy to ship & I don't want anything in return...just don't want them to waste. So if you want them, send me a PM with your name & address. I swear I am not a stalker...lol! :)
