What's your recipe for homemade sausage rolls?
Just sausage meat, Onions, Black pepper & salt, or there are the ones where I add sage & onion to that lot too....Mmmmmmmm so nice!! And Flakey Pastry!
What about you, do you do your own?
No but I want to this year Do you buy your flaky pastry in? I'm a novice cook, when you say sage and onion do you mean the stuffing?
I buy a block of sausage meat and mash that up and for the ones I put onion in (as not everyone likes it here) I add chopped onion. Then for some others I add a couple of tablespoons of made up stuffing mix, mix it all in, then get my ready made :wink: pastry, and cut into strips and add the mixtures......They smell so lovely when they are cooking!!! Mmmmmmmmmm You will not look back babe! x
