The Northern Ireland Crew!!

Yes I did and it was great, as well as the fact we got another scan which was AMAZING, the doctor is SOooooo nice! I'm really glad we changed, I just feel so much more at ease about it all! Thanks for your advice Tigger Tea.

That's great! I just wondered if you'd been happy with the choice ;) :hugs:

Hmmm... something odd has happened my signature, any reason that my tickers might disappear?

About the poos...no one warned me about that!!! Is there anything else you ladies think a first timer really ought to know? Forewarned is forearmed!

Did I miss an annoucement here somewhere that LittleAurora had her wee baby? Is that right?

Pooey waters...hehe!

- after i had my baby, during my stitch-up the doc had to put a finger up my bum to check if there was any damage.

- sweeps HURT!!!!!!!

- wen u have to push, it feels like ur trying to poop out a watermelon! feels like the worst constipation imaginable!!!

- epi's don't always work!!

- you will forget all this the moment you meet your baby :flower:

i didnt have the finger up the bum..... thank god!

my tip is be prepared for transition, its scary, and you kinda temporarily loose control a wee bit lol..... but like you say, forewarned is forearmed!!

re the tickers... i think they are turned off in here for some reason...

 I keep forgetting about this section lol been so busy with moving etc!

EDIT- Huge congrats littleaurora!! and thank you once again :flower:

Showing my ignorance here yet again-what's transition? Loose control of...? (self/bodily functions...?)

transition is the point between 7 & 10cm, contractions are one ontop of the other, the pain is intense, but its not time to push yet, and its mad!
you (if epidural-less) kind of freak out a bit, and loose control of yourself temporarily lol... i had to get out of the pool for a while in transition as rubys wee heart rate was very low, and i was flailing about the room like a lunatic, demanding a general anaesthetic lol..... its temporary tho, and once you start to push you regain control, i wish id been prepared for it tho lol....

remembered something else too lol.... the first poop after labour.... its as scary as giving birth all over again lol lol lol!!
