Hiya girls, sorry I've been MIA! We went away for a week to Southampton. Went to Peppa pig world - one word - AMAZING!

Honestly Linds, it was fantastic, well worth the trip. We sailed to scotland though, so if I could give one piece of advice it would be to sail to liverpool. We stayed in a fantastic wooden lodge I can give you the details of if you want xx

I am soooo cross!!!

I bought a beautiful corset to go with the petticoat Nuke is lending me for my hen do. I had to send the corset back for an exchange and waited and waited! She was going to keep my corset and my money!! Now in the middle of a paypal dispute but at least they are on my side!

I am just soooo annoyed that I wont have the pretty corset now.

I think she has had a complete brain bypass or something She is now offering a part refund as I did not return it in its original packaging! ie a plastic bag! lol Pay pal said thats unreasonable so I just have to wait 10 days to get my money back!
I spoke to her on the phone, and when she was refusing to send either my corset or my money, I said it will become a civil court matter, and she laughed say you cant do that, so I said Thats what I do for a living, day in day out! lol she died.

Here is what I am wearing for the Sat night. But dont ask where I am going dressed like this! I have no idea what is happeneing the whole weekend!! All I know is what time we fly to London at!!

excuse all the shite of the day in the backround. I am clearing out and cleaning my cupboards but cant leave the stuff on the floor (dogs/kids) and there is zero spare counter room! lol

Thought I would ad that, although I adore my dress and would not change it for the world. I am slightly worried that when I walk in and my grannies see me for the 1st time they will have a heart attack. I know that after the initial shock, they will love it. They both know me all too well and know I am not going to stick to the norm. But one is from a tiny little country village and the other is a devout christian.....should I warn them?
I really want it to be a surprise. But I cant help but worry. I did try on umpteen white/ivory/gold/champagne dresses in different styles and what not, but I wasn't comfortable in any of them. I just couldn't love because of the colour. My mum has seen it and she says it beautiful and I suit it, its very me but she wishes I would have chosen a more traditional colour.

Love your dress Aurora, as for warning your rellies, it might be good just to say the dress isn't white? If anything or just a wee tip off that it's not 'traditional'.

I'm deffo not a white dress lass, already told my Mum they'll be no white wedding from me. My whole family are basically devout Christians (other than this generation, my brother and our cousins) but don't think they'll be bothered. Seems a bit silly to me to get married in white when you already have kids? I don't get it.

Coloured dresses are nice too, red dresses were on the catwalks for next season !!.... I guess if you have kids already or had a white traditional dress for your first wedding, then why not !!

My laptop barely got looked at last week in the nice weather! Was too nice to be sitting on my butt on it lol

Peppa pig world sounds fun! Would love to try it when Madison is a bit older, she's not into anything like that atm, even when I take her to the park she'd much prefer to run around and maybe go on the slide a few time but apart from that she'll freak out if I even try to attempt to put her near a swing!

LittleAurora you look stunning! Fab dress! Perhaps just tell them its not traditional. Thats what I did, I had a coloured 2 piece corset and skirt from fairygothmother, I love it, as did all our guests.

Talking of weddings, I'm in the process of looking for a nursing dress I can wear to a church wedding, its my cousin's wedding in july. Found a couple so far, but nothing . special. Any suggestions?
