Littleaurora you look fab!!
Rosalie is soo cute in her lil sun dress...look at them wee toes! :)

Wee update from me, dont know where else to put it :dohh:....I met with my doc today to get my blood results, it seems I didnt ovulate that month :( so I have to have bloods done again this month to see if it was just a one off or if I dont ovulate any month! She has also referred me to see a fertility specialist in the hosp to maybe be put on clomid, app could take up to 3 months to come tho
So yeh, thats it. Dunno what to think now

:hugs: Doodlebug, but that is soooo easily fixed with clomid or other drugs. A lady I know who I met at my BFing group didn't ovulate and went somewhere near donegal and paid a fee for a one-off hormone injection of some sort and concieved straight away! After trying for nearly 2 years.

If you have to have a problem in the way of conception, it's a good one to have :hugs:

Hi doodlebug, I have Pcos, came off the pill and had no periods for six months, got seen by a fertility consultant at Lagan valley who put me on metformin. My cycles gradually got shorter and when they got down to 7 weeks (which I thought was amazing lol) they gave me Clomid. I conceived on my first round. If your cycles are regular then you have even more chance. Took me 2 1/2 years but we got there. Hugs :hugs:

Aurora, what a tw*t on ebay! I'm so glad I've never had a run in with a buyer or seller...
Your hen do outfit looks lovely though - look forward to hearing about it! Did you mean to blank out your face in those photos too though? Wedding dress is awesome, but yeah maybe some people could here it's a bit "different" beforehand!?
Rosalie is a wee dote
Doodle, sorry to hear your blood tests showed that - FX it was a one off and you do OV next month but otherwise at least now the ball is rolling. Where will you be seen? A friend has recently been through this process and was initially seen in Belfast at the Grove Wellbeing place, but was then referred to Craigavon for her treatment waiting list - it was a much shorter waiting list there...
Germany is going OK, I started my language lessons this week, so we've had fun getting B settled in to the creche. C turns 4 on Monday, and we have nothing planned for her birthday, as we've no friends here to invite for a party :( but her granda is visiting, so we'll do something at home. Moving to new house next week too.

Thank you girls, I did panic a bit at first but have read so many sucess stories am starting to feel a bit more positive :) Its great to be able to talk to you ladies :hugs:

Scoobys mummy how does the clomid work? How often do you have to take it?

Holywoodmum, I'm not sure where I will be seen, I just assumed it would be the Erne Hospital in Enniskillen coz its closest to me

Awww sorry to hear that your 'missing out' on Charlotte's party. I'm sure a family thing with Grandad will be great though :) so long as there is cake. Is she signed up to a school or something in September?
Good for you learning German, my Mum has made minimum attempt really but seems to know a few words. My family do struggle with languages!
Once new baby is here you won't need to worry about parties ever again, 3 of them is a party - score!

Doodlebug, I conceived Alex with clomid, I've pcos also and didn't ovulate either, I would probably only have about 3 periods a year if I wasn't on the pill.

I conceived on my 3rd cycle and had to take five pills, one each day. Unfortunately my first pregnancy I miscarried but I had another 2 cycles of Clomid and fell pregnant with Alex. It seemed like a long process at the time going back and forth to the fertility clinic but it really was worth every journey, wait and tear to see my little boy on that scan for the first time!!

I went to the Royal for the fertility specialist, where are they sending you? This is a good thing and something to be positive about! :flower:

Lindsay, random question, can you remember Allen's surname who we used to work with ( manager) in Northgate? I was going to put him down as a reference as that was one the last places I'd worked. Thanks

My Dad worked for a Northgate when he was here, before he worked at Almac. It's probably a different one though?

It's the one on the Church Road, Newtownabbey. Haven't worked there in about 5 years and totally forget his surname lol don't even know if he still works there and if I need his permission for a reference?

Prob be polite to ask, but I don't think you need prmission.
Emy she's in kindergarten already :) DH worked for almac before we moved

You take it for five days, can't remember which but they give you a print out, first five maybe??. Then you should expect a period days 24-29 and if not you test on day 35. Longest 35 days of my life! I knew anyway though cause my boobs were achin and I couldn't sleep! Hth xx

That's interesting! My brother also worked there as a pill-filler over the summer last year. Dad did their IT and systems and stuff, they loved him, kept sending him to America and the boss woman used to take him out for food whenever she visited, Theresa someone? Anyway, it's really similar work to what he does now in Switzerland, except he gets paid a biiiiig difference. It's a similar pharmaceutical company but much bigger.

I'm gonna ask Dad if he knows/knew your hubby though :)

The Northgate he worked for meant he did installations of computers and laptops in schools all over NI, I don't know where their 'base' was.

ok who's up for a meet on either 15th or 16th of this month at mookie world?!

Weekend before me scan :D either should be ok for us I think.

As we discovered yesterday, Mookie world is not in the same place as the ice bowl (took us 30 mins to work that out!). And googlemaps is totally wrong and lies and says it's on thw wrong road.
