I always thought the coil was a good idea, but I remember reading a magazine where a writer was talking about how she'd had it from a young age, had it out so she could have kids and then found it had made her infertile so I didn't fancy that.
I think the implant is a lot better for long term effectiveness but I haven't tried everything so how am I to know?

Oooh, I don't know about that. I had the IUD in for 5 years before having it removed to try for Ellen. I was pregnant on my third cycle after removal The Mirena didn't suit me. I'll not go into the exact reasons, but hormones don't sit well with me. I can't take the combined pill because of my history of severe migraines, so it was back to the copper only coil. I actually said to my GP as he was peering up my fandango that I'd prefer to give birth today than have another IUD inserted. Hurt like billy-o. I'm dosed up on CoCodamol now and feeling sorry for myself.

I think you tend to hear a lot of "scare stories" about all forms of contraception, anyways.

But equally special for it to be your Dad's name - you gonna surprise him?! My brother got a sweep of all the good family names, William and James. Leaving me with Raymond and Reginald. LOADS of good girls name (he would've been Elsie) so I just went with something I really liked and used Grandad's name as his middle name (it's also my other Grandad's middle name).

we both actually really like the name peter, dunno bout poppy and peter tho oh well! barry thinks im having another girl!

i like elsie, my mum calls me elsie! (initials - L.C. = elsie... or sometimes Lecky as middle name begins with E)

Nuke to answer your question about facebook it's cos I'm lazy for one & can't be a**ed taking the time to make one. 2. I work with a bunch of folk that are fecking addicted to it - drives me nuts it's all they talk about & I'm kind of scared that if I get one I'll get addicted too, cos I am wile nosey & love a gd goss. I do go on my hubbies now & then to nose at people then realise I've lose hours of my life! Lol! May be someday I will! But at the mo I'm happy being different!

I understand the Facebook reluctance Majella! I resisted for years but eventually gave in to the pressure! All my family live in England so it's a handy way to keep in touch with aunties etc. I only have close family and close friends on it. But you're right - you can easily spend ages on it without realising, especially when you're bored at work!
