I know waht you mean Wannabe. We waited 7.5 years almost to start trying because of jobs and education. We finished everything, and I was so ready! I was so frustrated that my body wasn't ready when I was!!! It will happen, it just takes longer than you want it to. I had several crys every AF (even before we were trying officially we were doing risky what if behavior). Have a good cry then get back on your DH

@Spunky,thanks for your support hun, and for being so sweet that is exactly how I was today, cried throughout the morning and vented on the blog with you girls, and now I am feeling better after I got it all out!! Actually I am feeling great with my bottle of tequila rose...LOL!!!!

Since we have so much wild and crazy snow from the 10 inches we got from last weeks storm I was trying to convince DH to go sledding with me and for us to go buy some sleds, but he is a party pooper and doesnt want to go...I havent went since I was a kid and i think it would be alot of fun and a ood work out.

We might go bowling instead tomorrow if I cant convince him with the sledding..LOL....

So what are you girls up to for the weekend, anything fun?

Hey everyone!

The movie rocked!! I completely spoilt her and bought her the doll from the Disney Store and it was great for cheering me up! Just what i needed a good old fashioned !

I'm feeling a bit down now if i'm honest. it's like time doesn't pass fast enough...i'm not even properly fertile for another 3 days or so, feels like is a waste of time which isn't good, i mean i shouldn't just be doing it in the hope of a should I? I'm just so frustrated. When is this going to end?

As for me Im getting very nervous now because I just did an OPK and its pretty much blank...Im sposta ovulate Tuesday and I just assumed there would be more than that on there....even if it wasnt positive atleast something on it ..soo blah...im afraid its already happened and we missed it or maybe the clomid didnt work...

Wannabe, sorry that the got you. It's so damned frustrating. Somehow I got over my crazy obsessing, and am more thinking "Whatever happens, happens." Who knows how long this attitude will last, though...next month I could be psychotic again. :crazy:

5 DPO here. I'm yawning like crazy, I think it's because I have a splitting headache. Still creamy CM, but I've come to believe that I just have creamy CM from OV to AF. Twinges by either ovary, doesn't appear to be for any reason. I'm so tired of symptom spotting, because it just makes me crazier.
Actually, not temping seems to have helped. My mindset, I mean. Waking up every morning and reaching for that thermometer seemed to just set the tone for the whole day - if my temp dropped, went up, whatever...I'd go nuts. I think DH is happier too.
And Sparkle, as to BD timing - there's the SMEP (https://www.pregnancyloss.info/sperm_meets_egg_plan.htm) which tells you to try every other day, etc...
Unfortunately, with DH and I, it's turned into more of a :BFP: quest than just for fun. He's been really good about hooking up for the fertile window, but otherwise? Nada. It's getting a little depressing, actually....

I think I got a bit like that... No BD between af and leading up to ov, then I'd demand it every other day for a week, then nothing. It wasn't really sexy anymore, just routine because a pee stick said so.
Now it's like... Well the idea is sexy, and the fact that he wants to is sexy. But the discomfort and heartburn and aches and whatever else... Definitely not a turn on!
I'm sorta glad that once every 2-4 weeks is enough for him at the mo

I was just about to get in a bad mood because he said he needed 20 more minutes sleep and I know with a 4 year old early morning is pretty much the only time we really get to do it apart from late night...so i was getting frustrated but then i had to catch myself and remind myself this is meant to be fun! is meant to be fun and at the moment it's just about right timing! Might dress up for him tonight and turn the heat up a little!!

It's just i'm so impatient, i'm not even in my fertile period yet so in my head i'm thinking it's not really worth having because it won't do anything will it...It's so bad! The whole thing is starting to drive me crazy. I don't temp either because i think it would actually send me looney!

Thanks for the link thats exactly what i figured. But i've missed yesterday and the day before. But fertile period not until Tues-Thurs of next week so shouldn't matter should it??

@Sparkle, I think the most important time to get in is definatly during your fertile window, although I think it can only help your odds of getting pregnant if you can have during the rest of your cycle as well. I agree that men can be a pain in the behind at times, sometimes i have to use a little psychology which it sounds like you already know to do, by putting on something sexy and seducing your man... there are creative ways to get what u want out of your man if you know what i mean...


This month is going to be cruddy as far as TTC for me, my DH is going to be out of town for 2 weeks for his job in February and will be missing my entire fertile window, so there isnt much of a chance for me to be able to get my BFP this month, so i am pretty much chalking this cycle up as a loss already, but it is all good, I am not going to worry about it much this month and will be taking a break just for this month since DH is going to be gone for my fertile window...

Even if you're annoyed with DH suck it up and go for the egg! just tune him out. I had some times like that so i'd shut my mouth until after bd and THEN i'd just kind of ignore him and hide from him the rest of the day. hahaha
