I was thinking of getting a doppler...what's the earliest you can hear anything, as guys know i'm already super paranoid.

I think it's like 10 weeks is when they checked mine for the first time.... BUT i really think it's like 8.

is there anyone out there who was considered as infertile and still got preggo?
do you know if infertile women can get preggo or not?

I've had people diagnosed as 'unexplained infertility' and with IVF she is now preggo with her first. I've heard of a lot of people that think they cant, because they are told they cant, they adopt and THEN they have one of their own by accident anyway.

Doppler I think they said 14 weeks is early to hear heartbeat without a vaginal ultrasound. Some midwives I've heard wont even try till 16 weeks so as not to freak out mom if they can't find it. So I'd say 14 weeks +, but don't freak out if you don't hear them.

In the uk midwives don't check for the heartbeat until 16 weeks in case they can't find it... But it's obviously seen on the 12 week scan before that.

Isabel..I always told my hubby that if we were ever told we couldnt have kids all we would have to do is sign up to adopt and we would end up preggie..it happens alllll the time..once the "infertile" couples turn their attention away from trying to have a kid it happens naturally..so many couples adopt and then find out a few months later they are preggie....

You can go on the first tri forums and tons of ladies say they can find the HB pretty early...you just have to get good at it and realize the baby is lower down closer to your hoo hoo than your belly button...

that is absolutely true.... i agree with you.. but definately we dont want to adopt - we are still very young and we want our own kids!!!!! today i heard of a couple who got preggo with their first baby after 11 years ttc!!!!!!!!!!! they never gave up and we should do the same...

by the way, what is HB? sorry but i am a bit green to these initials

HB is heartbeat...
I just woke up from an amazing nap on the couch...soooo tired.....had to wait like 2 hours to get my car fixed today..came home..had some chic fil a and just..passed out lol...luckily I didnt have any "chores" today so I wont get in trouble with hubby hopefully for being lazy..and its been a cold and then cold and rainy day...

and now Im watching this thing about sharks in rivers?!?! lol..ahhhh!!!! next thing you know it'll be sharks in swimming pools! lol...Im already terrified of open water like...being literally in the water not just a boat....even swimming pools freak me out to be honest lol..lol.. so this show def isnt helping but I just cant stop watching...6 sharks from fishing in the Bayou...3-5 feet..but all are smaller than the one they almost caught...which they say was at least 10ft long!

and they are also in Lake Nicaraugua so dont go swimming there anyone that goes on vaca near there...! just trying to watch out for you ladies loll lol...

Girl i used to know- they couldn't find the heartbeat at 10 weeks so they told her it was dead and scraped everything. I was pissed- it was like they were totally confident about it. What if there was nothing wrong with that baby and they just missed it? Because MY midwife told me if we couldn't find it not to freak because it was still early.

I dont think I could ever had a D&E or D&C...I would have to be absolutely 100% sure that the baby was not alive..I would prefer to have a natural MC and then be finished off by the Dr after....there are just soo many stories of women that choose to not have it done and then months later they have a healthy baby... I guess to each her own..but I could personally never do that....

So what is everyone up to for the weekend? It is kind of chilly here so I dont think we will be spending much time outside. Wemight get snow tomorrow which would really suck..... I have been thinking about finally going bowling, since it is cheap and fun..although I have been saying i was going to go with DH for a while now and still havent went yet....LOL...Right now DH is still sleeping and I am drinking some coffee I just brewed.... I am hoping he will want to cook us breakfast...He makes a really good vegtable omlet...

Im cleaning the house today and hubby is doing other errands and stuff..we are going to my fav asian buffet tonight finally!!!! and then not sure about tomorrow..all depends on the weather I guess...hope it doesnt snow there Wannabe!! and I love bowling too!!! lol..also hoping it doesnt snow here again too until next winter...Im snowed out... well I better go..MS is starting to kick in..always worse when on the computer..blah!!..hope everyone has a good weekend.!!!

breakfast sounds fantastic! Husband usually makes me waffles or pancakes - but that's the one food I've tried 3 times and my blood sugar can't handle it (yet a buffet wiht 5 desserts is fair game...)

Bowling does sound kind of fun! Hope you guys get to go do it as I know you mentioned it a couple of weeks ago!

Husband wanted to do yard work, but it's raining, so we'll probably be working on turning the spare bedroom into the nursery more. (Moving crap from inside the house to the garage.)

Still one more week of Spring Break! Woohoo!
