ozzie- did they actually say they heard you?? Or is your OH just cross that they "could" have heard you?

Housemates- I know tonight is the first full day you've both had off together, without his DD here, but I really have no desire to hear you having sex for nearly 5 hours!! The ceiling of our front room is shaking, and the lights are flickering!!! And as for the huge slapping noise I heard, I don't even want to imagine what that was!!

OH-you ask me not to treat you like another child, and to stop nagging you. So for this mornings swimming lesson, I left you to organise yourself. And what happened? You travelled to the pool in your shorts, and left your clothes in the car!! So you had to walk out of the pool, and across the car park in your towel!!
And you were desperate for us to go live somewhere else for 2 months, so we agreed on Italy. Yet now you're trying to convince me that we should travel Europe for 2 months instead. Not something I want to do with a 7month old!!

IL's- Yes, I noticed you've started smoking again, and I am so, so pissed off! LO is staying with you in 2 weeks, and quite frankly, I don't trust you not to smoke around her. And MIL, opening the window whilst you smoke in your car does NOT make it ok!!!
And, don't think I haven't noticed that you have only been to visit us twice. The last time you came, LO was 4 days old. She is now nearly 4 months!! OH said something about it to you, and your excuse was "we've had weddings or birthdays every weekend" BULLSHIT! I know when all your immediate families birthdays are. One was Tuesday, but before that it was July! Its ridiculous that you think that is an ok reason not to see your only Grandchild!
It's all very well telling me how you've painted your spare room pink, so Evie has somewhere to stay at yours, but you've got a hobo from your cult church living in it! OH and I have to sleep in your attic room when we stay. Which is why we don't come and stay anymore, because I refuse to allow LO to be carried up a ladder!!
And I'm not sure why you so proudly tell me you've started a toy box for her. I've seen the toys you have in it. Not one thing in there is anywhere near new, and quite frankly I wouldn't give it to a dog to play with!
I still haven't forgiven you for your "the breast isn't enough, put your foot down and give her a bottle" and "send her to me for 2 days, I'll soon have her behaving herself and sleeping in a cot" comments! My daughter is breast fed, deal with it! and even if she wasn't, I wouldn't allow her to stay with you unless there was no other option. If I had my way, she would spend the entire week we're away, with my mum. I trust her to look after LO the way we ask her, and not the way she thinks she should be looked after!!

As you can see, as much as I like my IL's, there is a whoooole lot of problems there!

I also think it's normal for people to wait for a child's parents to plan a birthday party for the child? Or at least to be ASKED about it? And not called at the last minute to be invited to said party.

I finally got my appt for my 12 week scan through ... the 6th November !. Well by that stage i'll be 17 bloody weeks gone. Typical of my midwife team. Why oh why do i get the dippet ones ????.

I phoned them. Bit of a waste of time as the receptionist wasn't on the ball either. She said that my last period was the 9th August so MY maths was out . However when she pulled my file (i had to ask her to) my early scan was there dating me at 11 wks on thursday. If i hadn't had my scan i doubt she'd be willing to change my appt. I have a back up though if she doesn't send my appt ASAP. I have my consultants phone number and e-mail, plus my sis is good pals with his secretary . Plus the threat of suing them for my 1st pregnancy usually makes things happen (nasty i know ).
