Thanks hubby, for watching LO last night while I did some shopping. And Thanks for putting LO to bed in just a onesie and no pants. Its your fault she started whining at 1am last night because she was cold, freezing cold! Have you ever seen me put her to bed in just a onesie? That room doesn't stay warm at night. I didn't get her back to sleep until 3am and had to wake up at 5am for work. And you wondered why I was so irritated this morning....

I'm sad. My first Christmas with my son is stuck hanging out with my inlaws kids. =(
Not saying they arn't family or anything. I'm just sad cause I'd like to have one fucking thing by myself without his family involved. 3 more years till they get out of jail. So much for having my OWN family. Christmas is my favorite holiday too.

Thanks everyone for letting me rant

Unfortunately DHs work has changed the date again.. So even though I'd told myself "screw it, I'm going down South anyway!" I can't now as it's too close to DHs brothers wedding, so I'd be going down and back 3 times in 3 weeks! (DHs stupid arse of a brother is having a civil ceremony with about 20 people, on a FRIDAY (11/11/11 nonetheless.. ugh talk about disrespectful, making their own giant poppy buttonholes, not even a collection or anything), paying over the odds for that and a dinner, just so it looks all "special" (lol, nope) and expensive - with both sets of parents footing the bill - and them having a reception a week later at a social club in another county!! Wtf?? So we've got to travel 200 miles each way, two weekends in a row It will totally disrupt LOs routine. Even if I did go down alone when DH is away, I wouldn't be getting "help" from family as such and definitely wouldn't get any sort of break (I'd be staying with my Nanny too), but at least I'd have some company I suppose.. Although they drive me mad at times, and I probably wouldn't tell the evil Nanna I was down there

Sooo yeah. I'm sorta stuck now Just hoping LO is a bit more settled for when I'm left on my own, poor little thing is just screaming a lot at the moment A combination of WW12, reflux, and teething it would seem..
