Urgh I have read about this book before, most shockingly for me the book is available on Amazon!!
It has been linked to a number of infant deaths in america and yet they still allow it, mind boggling

yes the 1 star reviews (and theres a LOT of them!) say it all really. especially when you read the quotes from the book itself.

omg, just read this "On page 47 they recommend their various whips, including "a belt or larger tree branch"!!! The book has examples of a 4 month old infant, a 7 month old, a 12 month old, a 15 month old being WHIPPED!" Its such a chilling read to hear what people consider acceptable behaviour

thank god there's so many one stars and only 11 5 stars .. still shocks me that there's even that many though!

and one girl saying she "trained" her nephew, and bought the book for all her family/friends.

On page 80 they recommend giving a child having a tantrum "a swift *forceful* spanking" and to whip them until they stop screaming from the torture! They say to continue whipping until their crying turns into a "wounded, submissive whimper." And if the tiny child does obey before being whipped, to WHIP THEM ANYWAY! And "if you have to sit on him to spank him, then do not hesitate!"

that there is the worst part of this, those fantics who believe this crap thinks its wonderful, they think because the guy says its the word of god that they MUST do exactly as the book says, and so passes it on to everyone and sadly some of those people might believe it and thus pass it on again

its sickening to think how many poor children to this day are being "whipped" and beaten because of this VERY book.

i just want to scream at them all "this book is NOT the bible, if you want to follow the true word of god, read the bible instead!"

horrid, just horrid. There was a programme on Channel 5 a few years ago about families like this; some were living in the UK. There was also a man and his son on the programme who made 'beating rods' that looked like cricket bats....

WHY is this book allowed to be published when in essence it is a how to for child abuse!! The publishers and retailers of this vitriol are almost as bad as the mindless nutcase who wrote it!!!

Other than the above words fail me!!
