toxoplasmosis risk

Hi ladies
I'm 16 weeks with second baby and have just been out in the garden pulling up weeds without gloves on. I washed my hands thoroughly when I came in but have been told I could be at risk of toxoplasmosis from the soil? I am now worrying about this. I do have cats and have always had them. Hubby has been doing litter tray whilst I'm pg but I normally do this.
Should I be doing anything or contacting anyone?

Personally, I don't worry much about toxoplasmosis. I also have cats. You could always wear gloves if you are concerned that there are animals defecating nearby. Otherwise washing your hands should be fine.

Transmission is an oral route. As long as your hands are clean and you aren't eating dirt, risk of transmission is really low.

I've got two cats and I just passed on the job of cleaning the litter to my OH. Honestly most people who own cats are immune to it anyway. Its not a huge deal. As long as you wash your hands, it will be fine.

I've read that you're most likely immune if you've had cats for a long time. I've had one all my life so don't worry about it. (Although I do still leave DH to the car litter, any excuse not to do it )

I made the mistake of telling mine or wasn't a huge concern if I've had them all my life and they're indoor cats.

And now I still change the litter box.
