Hello. Hope you don't mind if I join you all!

This was our first month of ttc with preseed and I am on the 3rd dpo. I used it without DH knowing about five mins before dtd and I don't think he cottened on! We have been trying fo a year and we have one miscarrage and one eptopic under our belt so I'm really hoping we will catch again soon! My test date is supposed to be the 8th Oct but I'm a bit of a POAS addict so I'm guessing I will try abit before then.

Keeping my fingers crossed for some BFP on here soon!! x x

Hey Popcorn!! I have been using 2g.. also been inserting it "in secret" before DH comes to bed.. I have not been having any excess to "remove". I have also not been waiting 15 mins everytime. Good luck and happy BDing!!!!!!

Hi girls....used pre-seed for the 1st time last night. OH knew I had it, as he had bought and ordered it for me online...but has asked me not to actually 'tell' him when I was using it (he's not good with the whole cervical mucus ins and outs lol). I inserted about 2.5g whilst he was in the shower, and had a little excess but not much....so it was in for about 15/20 mins before we DTD. Afterwards he said to me 'did you put that gel stuff in?'....so I must have put just the right amount in, as it wasn't too messy.

Don't know if it did any good....but it definately didn't do any bad. Will be using it every time we BD over the next few days. Fingers crossed!!!

I bought Conceive Plus (the UK version) and didn't tell my hubby. i put it in and tried to do it before he came into the room but then he saw me trying to hide it and said WHAT'S THAT!!!! and i said NOTHING! and he found it - for some silly reason i felt embarrassed. but he thought it was 'cute' and a 'sensible thing to be using' - and that was that. so crisis averted. and it does feel good using it.
i'm still waiting for a OPK+ but we're still going about our business with preseed. i feel excited about it

I bought Conceive Plus (the UK version) and didn't tell my hubby. i put it in and tried to do it before he came into the room but then he saw me trying to hide it and said WHAT'S THAT!!!! and i said NOTHING! and he found it - for some silly reason i felt embarrassed. but he thought it was 'cute' and a 'sensible thing to be using' - and that was that. so crisis averted. and it does feel good using it.

Hi londongirl! Yeah I know what you mean about being embarrassed, it's a pretty personal thing to be doing....even infront of your other half lol. I have heard about Conceive Plus....I think they are pretty similar...and I noticed they also sell it in Boots and places, so if this cycle doesn't work with Pre-seed, I will get some of that, as it's alot easier than ordering online and waiting for it to arrive. I havn't had a OPK+ just yet either, I think I'm due to OV around tues/wed....but as my ticker says I am in my fertile period, I used the pre-seed anyway....as it deffo can't hurt! You never know!

I also felt strangely excited about it too haha.

Thanks hun. We kinda did SMEP. I got 4 days of positive OPKs, so we didn't really know when to stop BDing and by the time the negative OPK came, we were too worn out to keep it up.

Hi londongirl! Yeah I know what you mean about being embarrassed, it's a pretty personal thing to be doing....even infront of your other half lol. I have heard about Conceive Plus....I think they are pretty similar...and I noticed they also sell it in Boots and places, so if this cycle doesn't work with Pre-seed, I will get some of that, as it's alot easier than ordering online and waiting for it to arrive. thank you!!! my cycles range from 32-36 days so i never know precisely when i'll ov, but i think it'll be around tues/wed too when will you test? i'm terrible - i test so early! i just can't help myself! i reckon 10dpo. i had a chemical a few cycles back and at 10dpo it was a REALLY dark 2nd line. maybe we can test on the same day if we ov at the same time!!

the reason i'm excited about preseed/conceive plus is i because I think the main thing stopping me is lack of EWCM. i seem to ovulate fine and all else seems to be fine, but i def don't seem to notice EWCM as much as other girls. and preseed seems to be exactly for that reason, so i feel like it may just be the answer i'm after... hopefully. is it similar for you?

that's the difficulty isn't it - when sex becomes tiring and the spontaneity is taken out of it. TTC can be pretty emotionally taxing...

Yes that's EXACTLY the same for me! I definately OV'ed last month because I did my OPK's and they went dark at the time the charts said they would, and also on that exact night, I got a couple of sharp pains in my right ovary....but just like you, I hardly had any EWCM. I checked everyday, and couldn't get anything 'that stretched between my fingers'....so I think that might have been my problem. I looked at pictures of EWCM online (gross I know!) and nothing I had seemed to match that.

My AF is due Weds 12 Oct...so I'm planning to hold out until the 11th, but considering I just ordered 30 internet cheapie pregnancy tests(!!!), then I'll probably start before lol. When is your AF due roughly? xx

I took my first test today using preseed for the first time this cycle.
Sad to say it was a bfn but I'm still only 10 dpo so hoping I am just too early.
Going to test again tomorrow and Monday and then won't test until af is due (Thursday).

Feel a bit disheartened even though only 10 dpo and I know it's the risk we poas addicts take! But have read plenty about others not getting Bfp until later.

Hoping I will be a preseed success story soon x x x

Thanks! I didnt use smep. We bd the day before ovulation, and twice the day after. Dh has a crazy work schedule.
